A Horse For Abbey.MPG

For those of you that don't know, Abbey has been riding Miracle for a couple of years now - she has ridden her in lessons, shown her at horse shows and butted heads with her on many occasion! Friday night she was told that Miracle was sold and was moving to Indiana. After a long night of tears (yes, we get the parent of the year award for that one) she showed up to the barn early Saturday morning to say a tearful goodbye. First she gets Melanie's saddle, which she has been wanting to buy for some time, "to help ease the pain" of saying goodbye - then, she gets a "little something" to go with the saddle AND THE SURPRISE OF HER LIFE! In the video is Abbey, Scott (daddy), Melanie (her riding instructor and our co-conspirator) and of course Miracle.

this makes me remember the night i found out my late qh mare, Classy, was mine. My parents were not horsey people and when i outgrew our little backyard shetland i thought i was done. But i came home to Classy just chillin in our yard. i had the best years with her and i will miss her terribly. this makes me cry!

this is pretty much exactly how my surprise horse was. i actually had him since may 2011 but my parents didnt tell me until christmas 2011. LOL but congrats shes beautiful

I lease a horse that I love more than anything and I can only wish that this would happen to me. I'm moving away for school and I have to say goodbye to him. I wish my parents were this awesome to buy him so I can take him with me.

That is the best!!!!! i am sorta in the same situation...my best buddy chief is being sold the only difference is, although i get lessons twice a week and help out every other day, i dont get to keep him:( he is....ively...haha well actually he has bucked me off once, one time i fell off on my own account, and he has also run from a girl tha was trying to put his bridle o then proceeded to step on my foot and break it :o i love him anyway:) thereis no horse like him and i will die wen he leaves!

So I was told the horse I ride is going down to Florida early next month and they're gonna stop giving lessons... I'm secretely hoping this is what's going to happen to me. I've been riding since I was 5 and I am 14 now and I've ridden Rocky for 3 years... I want this so badly. But I know it won't happen because his owner loves him way too much... :'(

Im not complaining i love her to death but i dont think it is fair for me to ride her knowing she is way too small and preganant too, so i just want something bigger so i can keep her to love and teach her to ride better for little kids and to have a big horse to ride so i know im not hurting her...... Promise if i didnt have my pony i would be lost...... :)

but you can work with a small pony too...i mean i have one and i do care for her till her life ends-and apart of being small, she is sick too...having a horse isn't just about riding...sorry no offense but it just makes me sick hearing the same thing again and again...
