Going to go hug my horse now. 😢😢😢 She was stolen three years ago and by the grace of God, ended up being posted for sale on Facebook and spotted by a friend. I hadn't seen her for a year, but morning after I got her back home, I went out and called her name. She not only came RUNNING, but also screaming! lol She def had never forgotten!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Now at 50 I have 100 acres and I have animals and take in animals from the humaine society when they are needing a home. My 3 grandbabies love to love on all the animals. God bless your caring heart.

A few years ago I had a beautiful white horse. I rode her everyday. Her name was Athena. I love her so much. But she got very old and when she got old she got sick. Every night I would sneak out to the backyard and lay down with her. She would always keep me safe and warm. When I laid down with her we would always look at the stars together. And then one day I got the worst news possible. We had to sell Athena. At the time my family was low on money and with older horse you have to pay more attention and time and money on them. The day we gave her to the new owners I ran towards her and gave her the biggest hug possible. And told her I loved her and I would always love her no matter what as I was hugging her she hugged me back. And I started crying as the owners took her to her new home. To this day I still wonder about Athena. But wherever she is I know that she is in a better place. If I could see Athena again. I would give her the biggest hug and tell her that I loved her. The day after we sold Athena, I took her lead rope and went out to the backyard and went to her pin. As I looked at it I went inside and then I dropped to my knees and started crying. I hope you and Spook continue on this journey and keep winning barrel races. I just wanted to tell my story to encourage other people to share theirs. Love the video btw. And now I’m crying over this paragraph. Hope you guys stay safe and don’t forget to never ever give up 🙂❤️

Honey thats why your mom left your dad - she found out that he is a worthless piece of crap. To do that to a child fully knowing it would break your heart. Every year place an add in his local weekend paper with a photo of him on his birthday. Stating what a low life he has been to his past wife and to you as a child. Warn other families in the area to keep him away from children due to his small mindedness and mean nasty tendencies to children. Say nothing that that is not truthful. That way he can't sue you. I once told a councilor in writing to get off her big fat cellulite arse and do her job. She wrote me a letter back asking me if I would be willing to repeat that remark in public. So I had my letter published in the local paper. My daughter asked me if I was worried that may be sued for slander. I told her no. The reason why is because I was being truthful - she does have a big fat cellulite rear end. However if she did not have one ... lol and she was a slim woman with a flawless body. Then I would of slandered her and been in deep poop. Don't let this go sweety - remind him every year what a small minded nasty vindictive person he is. Talk this over with your mom - good luck I hope you have another horse one day.

I miss my sweet girl Midge. She may have been my great aunts horse but she was my baby, I loved her to the moon and back. I had a special bond with her. She’s a Pegasus now. Edit: when a horse passes away, I say that they become a Pegasus. They get their wings.

Sat here crying. Had to do the same when my marriage broke up.Rhia was a complete fruitloop spent more of my time on 2 legs than 4. But she was my baby and I adored her. Remember leading her up the lorry ramp tears rolling knowing I had no choice. Her whinnying as they drove off, Rang them within 5 min of them going up the road to say I had changed my mind. They refused to answer the phone. 15yrs on still feel as if part of me is missing😔

When I was 15 my parents divorced and my mother did not have enough money for me to keep my horse so she had to be sold. It broke my heart in a million pieces and I always felt that I did not had a proper goodbye because everything happend so fast . I never saw her again. I'm now 23 year's old and still from time to time I have these very vivid dreams of me and my horse meeting again and they seem so real and in that moment it feels like a hole in my heart is closed . But then I wake up.

This is almost my story exactly. I’m 37 now and still always look for her whenever we drive by horses even though I know she’d be long gone by now. The guilt is the worst...knowing they think you abandoned them when as a child you never had a choice. I’ll be with her again some day though and I’ll explain it to her then :)

When I was 21 yrs old I bought a 2 yr old ,52 inch black pony stallion from my brother. We drove a good many miles ,,I for 4 yrs and I was married and had 2 little boys and times got tuff,,, I needed the money so I sold him to a friend( 2 hrs away )for his mother. The stallion was 6 yrs old at the time and beautiful ... but save and gentle but they gelded him for the elderly lady. 6 yrs later I found out he was forsale and I got him back. We hadn't seen each other in 6 yrs and he still knew me. Now that pony still pulls my little wagon around for all my children, just as faithful as the day long. He's 22 yrs old now but doesn't show it. Awesome and beautiful little horse.

I had a very special horse named Buddy when I was a young girl. I didn't own him but I was the only one who could ride Buddy. I volunteered at a horse ranch , I started when I was 11 yrs old to eventually get hired as a trail guide. Buddy was a bodacious Appaloosa 💞 with a huge heart. No one could ride Buddy but after alot of time building a beautiful bond, we spent many years riding like the wind! I used to spent time just reading a book in his stall or doing homework. He made me forget all the worries in the world. Unfortunately, the owners of the ranch became alcoholics and separated. The man let the ranch run down to the point spca came in and confiscated all the horses. I never seen Buddy again and had absolutely no way to find him. I'll always remember Buddy and one day I will have my own. This is absolutely beautiful 💜💜 Made me tear for Joy xx

Gail Reske Horse was injured and no longer worth a race....and though the horse was "seemingly" loved. It was shot & killed. Swiftly. Spook braced for the shot...through time...seeing a barrel with a bullet...Spook had It's animal like instinct to the end. At Spooks last hoorah....still showed it was a fighting horse...Always made it's come back...Proving it's value that at one time to bidding owners...it was blue ribbon status. Even more heartbreaking...got news that the person who wrote that sweet note....had to also be the one to hold the gun, and didn't hesitate. When I watched this (sun blinding me outside---made it hard to see...Ugh....)...I had a sigh of relief to see such a thoughtful gesture to mend a-o girls'(???) broken heart....then only learn, and hear the truths....that the beloved horse died so soon. It was sick when it was given, too. A-O for effort. R.I.P. 3/2018 - 10/2018. Spook was a even a sad name...quickly turned into a phantom carrying ghost.
