My grandma's family came from Denmark and settled here with 11 sisters! The family ALL sacrificed to help build this temple. Such a beautiful beacon of strength, unity and glory unto the Lord! Later on my family back in Denmark would also help build a large "word house" that would later become a temple under David O McKay... to this day I still have family in construction who help build temples... this is one of my top 2 favorite temples... The Salt Lake City Temple being one of my favorites as well... much of that molding in the Salt Lake temple was done with the help of another side of my family that came to Utah... really lovely feelings come to me when I see these temples renovated and ready in time for the Millennium.

I have some ancestors who came from Denmark and settled in Spring City. My great great grandfather Simon T Beck helped build the Manti Temple and was an ordinance worker there. I feel very blessed to be his great-great-granddaughter.

The Manti temple was the 1st. temple I was privileged to see the inside of. I was age 12 & my parents & I went to be sealed for time & all eternity. I was & still am in awe of our Father's presence in His house.

This is the first temple I ever saw or went into. It was 1973 on a seminary trip. I was a new convert and was excited to be able to do proxy baptisms.

I am from the east coast with no pioneer heritage. I had the chance to attend the St. George temple open house and it was amazing to see the beauty in how the first temples were constructed by the early Saints. I left with an immense amount of gratitude for their dedication in building a house of the Lord. I hope to also visit the Manti temple one day

A most memorable experience is going south from Thistle Junction and topping the pass leading toward San Pete county, Fairview, Ephraim and Manti, UT just after dark, and seeing the Manti Temple lit up in the distance, seemingly suspended in the air against the dark mountainside further south!! Mesmerizing, just knowing what temples represent!!

I am a descendant of Canute Peterson. He was the first stake president in Sanpete and was over the building of the Manti temple. I now work in the Manti Temple as an ordinance worker and can’t wait for the Ephraim temple to be completed. I went through and it is breathtaking! There are hundreds there and a big line and it is exciting to see everyone there. It is well worth the travel time and wait.

If you live close enough to go, then go and tour the Manti Temple! Bring all of the family members and friends that you can, as it is a memory that will always be precious to every attendee. Power comes from powerful experiences and foolish people take opportunities for granted rather than taking advantage of them. Trim your lamp and stay awake rather sleep through the literal building of the Lord's Kingdom!

I wish they at least doubled the duration of the dates of the public tours especially on the older temples. The lines are always sooo long. After getting tickets, getting child care, driving a long distance, having to park very far away and then standing in line for more than an hour and having to leave and not see it. I feel like this is a very common occurrence and should be addressed.

The workmanship of the Manti Temple is absolutely beautiful and without any question of highest quality. However, i have to question its purpose - - isit there to impress people with the right purpose? Will Church members be coming to the Temple for their ordinances and proxy ordinances, or to see all the ornate details?
