You need to try the belvedere at the rear of the philharmonic theatre plus the blackburn arms and peter kavanghs,and the cracke aswell,and the grapes all in that area😂

Likes of the rubber soul, legends and obriens in mathew street, all very cheap throughout the mon to Thurs before 5pm and some 6pm on a friday. 2.50 or 2.60 all pints. That's when locals like myself will make a trip down there but weekend avoid it now as too loud and prices go up by 60 percent or more.

Cask ale almost non-existant in Ireland and NI - only 10 - 15 pubs in whole of Northern Ireland with cask, Belfast has about 6 - one pub charges around £7/pt for cask 😠... won't pay that - usually use the only spoons (Bridge House) in the city at £1.99 - the Sunflower is reasonable at around £4.80 - seen Marble / Tiny Rebel / Kernel recently - only 1 pump though ...

Mathew street will cost you a fortune if you go at night but if you go during the weekday /afternoon most of the bars are half the price for the same drinks. Fun fact nearly every bar on mathew street is owned by the same bloke and even more is he doesnt even drink hes Muslim. Hes a nice bloke though I've done work for him in the past.
