The human voice is the most unique instrument there is supposedly. It’s the one thing AI can’t steal from you.

Not about AI. I watched a previous video of yours. This content is a world of difference than what I create. Everything about it is different. KZbin is wild. So many niches. My default response at this point would be, good luck to you on your future videos, but that doesn't sit right with me. I refuse to believe we rely on luck to have popular videos. I believe this process can be scienced out. It's what I've been focusing on for the past year. It's possible. We will keep concentrating on it, learning, trying new things, making every video 1% better than the last, and it will happen. I'm sure KZbin will recommend your channel to me again soon. ✌️

This echoes what you just said, but as you can see from the comments - many people agree. And just ask Robert Glasper if he would want a ai to play the piano for him. - Ask Stephen King if he would like AI to write books for him. - Ask NY painter/sculptor Jules Arthur if he want AI to do Sculptures for him. They would (very likely) say: no, creating art is like dancing - its not about getting to the end, its about enjoying the moment, the doing. This is probably something that confuses "non artists", as for them, "art" is a product, something that has to quickly be finished and move on. But many, many artists don't create art for money or fame(as you also mentioned) - they do it because they *will go nuts if they don't do it.* And AI can't fix that. But the question everybody in the world should, and at one point sooner or later, even "non artists" has to ask themself, is: Am I just a mindless consumer, or do I *choose* to create something with my brain. Take a look at "Robert Glasper - Levels (Live At Capitol Studios) " here on youtube, and you know his answer.
@RockWILK18 сағат бұрын
Robert Glasper is one of my favorite artists. A phenomenally gifted player who stays open to all kinds of different collaboration. I think you hit the nail on the head with regards to process. That art is really about “the making” as you say. That it’s about the moment that you want to last forever. Even if it drives you insane because you can’t finish, or you’re having difficulty finding your way, that’s what makes it so beautiful and compelling. At least for me, I enjoy climbing that mountain every single time, because without that way of living, I don’t know why I would even be here. AI can’t do any of that for me, and I don’t have any desire for anything or anybody to do any of that for me. It’s why I wake up every day, to just do the work. To know who I am. But that’s just me. :-) Thanks so much for this comment, I really appreciate it. Have a beautiful day!

Never let AI take your writing or you own personal touch out of the mix. I couldn't agree with you more there Rock!!! As I can only speak for my channel, I use AI tools to bring my ideas, stories and thoughts to life in ways I couldn't usually do. Some would argue that AI is helping bring creativity to the masses and out of the hands of the old guard like Hollywood etc. However like any tool it can be used to either create or destroy depending on whose hand it's in. I agree, deepfakes are no good and raise a lot of questions for information in the future. Finding your voice and putting your spin on things will always be what separates the greats. Keeping the humanity and personal touch is key. I don't know what the future holds for creativity and the human touch but the questions you've raised here are what humanity as a whole will need to wrestle with. Fantastic video and thought provoking!!

I really appreciate this comment, but for me, as a writer especially, I just can’t get with AI at all. It actually scares me. I think it was designed to take human beings down. To have all of us submit to something that will take any bit of control we have over our lives away from us. I’m talking about creatively, but as I’m typing this, I’m thinking that this can also be a metaphor for other things. I just don’t like how people so easily give away what is special about them. AI will suck everything that is special about you right out of your body if you let it. Just like anything else, I’m certain there are things where AI is awesome, but in general, I don’t like it. And I’m sure that’s because I’m an artist. But that’s just me. One thing that’s so cool about the human race is that we are all so different, even though we have so much in common, and we all have the same desires, we are all unique unto ourselves, and that’s a beautiful thing. Thanks again for coming through, I greatly appreciate that.

Great video. It definitely resonates. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but loses his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? There is a spiritual indignation behind AI. Most won't see it though, but you do. We were all made unique with different gifts. But most people don't want the gift they were given. They want to have AI facilitate a gift that was never theirs to begin with. And have AI steal from those who are gifted; not just in the arts but in science, mathematics, engineering etc. Reminds me of the Borg from the TV series Star Trek the Next Generation. They were of a collective hive mind with no essence of self...no soul. Or the Terminator movies. We have every right to be scared. Humanity took the bait and it will eventually only lead to our own demise if we do not resist. AI cannot take what we are unwilling to give. Keep using and expressing your God given gifts Rock. Humanity and KZbin will be better for it. Blessings ✝💜

The fact that so many people can't see the difference between AI and reality online these days really scares me! I honestly think that AI is one of the reasons why KZbin pushes new KZbinrs in the past few months, espeially now that many of the big KZbinrs retire after 10+ years of creating content.

I’ve noticed this- for example, a channel pretending to have content of Joe dispenza or Alan Watts. I scroll thru the comments and people think these guys said these things but they never did. Ai script, AI voice. Only people who read their work would know it was wrong. And readers are rare. I would see commenters address Joe as if it was his channel. I would sue. Next it will be completely fake movies.

@ people are already making movies via AI. Personally, I’m not really paying attention to any of it. I’m just doing my work and taking it day by day. I can’t control any of that, and I’m not gonna try. All I can guarantee is anybody who sees me, whether it be here or on stage in a theater, or in a movie, it’s gonna be real, it’s gonna be genuine.And if it’s not, and I find out, somebody’s definitely gonna get sued. Lol.

you dont have to let AI take control over your entire work.. but in the way you would have a writing partner or friend assist you.. you can use it like that. Like a calculator while doing math. It also allows Storytellers to become a single handed full production and finalize entire projects without a team. It's not easy work.. but it allows you to be a one man marching band where other establish entertainment corporations have to use thousands of individuals. now, you can realy sell a movie no different than a best selling author- once it gets a bit better.
@RockWILK16 сағат бұрын
I appreciate what you're saying but I have to disagree on some of these examples. Like a calculator is not learning anything about me while I'm using it to help me. And if I am collaborating with other human beings, they are bringing who they are as individuals to the table as opposed to studying me and then spreading me out to the rest of the world whether I like it or not. And as far as your One Man Band metaphor, I'm not sure that you're really aware of my work, but that's the perfect metaphor for me. Check out my two feature films that I shot all by myself with no collaborators, also being the soul actor, which is the same way I work as a solo theater artist, AI would not have anything meaningful to add to that kind of process, and in fact I believe that it would destroy my journey. At least the creative part. As for marketing and selling of films and things of that nature, selling tickets for theater, I just look at AI as a way to put people out of work. Like I said in the video, at the end of the day, what really is the point? Sure, it makes things easier for people, it allows some people to do things that they would never be able to do on their own, but I believe the end game of AI is much more Insidious than any of that. People will submit to having things done for them much faster, which will make people much less self-reliant, and I'm not with that at all. Having said all of that, I certainly don't judge anyone for using it, and I also understand that I am in a different place chronologically than most of the population, so what do I know about this current world? :-) I do, however, have my experience to offer. Thank you so much for coming through here and for taking the time to leave such a considered comment, I so greatly appreciate that, it means a lot to me. Have a beautiful day.

@@RockWILK one last reply. Have you ever had someone be assist you in writing who gave you wrong answers you didn't know to think of- which sparks something in you to find the best ones? I had AI write a scene. It was good awful.. but upon reading it.. it sparked the muscles in my creative mind to go through it and flex what I felt was so much better.. just like the inspiration of watching a terrible movie you had hoped for and you go home to write what you thought it missed cathartically. A.I. not being flawless is great in that way.

Would anyone notice or care if superhero movies or romcoms were written by AI? The moviemakers like Jarmusch, or Wim Wenders, Charlie Kaufman, Lynch and Yorgos Lanthimos will always be more appreciated by fewer people. And to speak to your channel aesthetic, you have 0% cheese that the more popular and lucrative channels have, and that's a positive attribute in my opinion.
