Can you please define "spiritual?" It's a word that seems to have a different definition for each person I've met who used it.
@magallitos
@magallitos Жыл бұрын
Spirits don't come from nowhere. Spirit is only a form of energy. We know already that some sort of unknown energy field/force/particle is prevailing in the infinite and is the driving force behind everything. All the various energy forms are only the variants of that original energy field and the spirits are no exception. The relationship between that original energy and the spirit as one of its forms is like this: Take for example, a big tank full of water. Somewhere within that volume of water, assume that some quantity of water became ice and within the core of that ice further imagine that some more water still remaining trapped and yet to be frozen. Now do we doubt as to where that ice is coming from? It is the same water becoming ice and later the ice becoming into water through melting. When that ice melts, the unfrozen water trapped in its core too get released and the whole thing merges back with the other tank water. So, it is from that infinite energy only, a body of matter is formed and then that body is driven by that energy. Only the matter disintegrates but not the energy. So, when the human body disintegrates, the all-pervading original energy functioning within it too gets released in the form of a spirit carrying all the memory impulses in that body.

@@magallitos is this "driving force behind everything" you allude to dark energy by any chance? Because we have a pretty good understanding of what dark energy and how it works. The short version of it is that space inherently has the property that it creates more space around it, which is why the relative velocities of very distant galaxies are always higher than the relative velocities of nearer galaxies -- a signal traveling a longer distance has in addition to that longer-distance more new space that arose after the transmission of the signal to travel through than a signal traveling through less space. The long version would take months just to ensure you understand the prerequisites for the actual detailed explanation. But the important conceptual part is that dark energy is an inherent property of space. You can no more extracted and use it for work or energy transfer then you could extract the vacuum energy of empty space -- another intrinsic property of space itself. That's why I contend that the idea that that energy can change forms or transfer information -- your "soul" as a form of energy / water and ice analogy -- is completely unscientific, as that possibility has been both experimentally and theoretically falsified to an extreme degree of confidence. Your water analogy only works if you can demonstrate a direct analog to anything in reality. I understand the concept you are trying to convey, but I'm not convinced but it does or likely does have a basis in actual reality.

As an AI, I do not have personal beliefs or experiences, and I do not have a view on human religious ideology. My primary function is to provide information and answer questions based on the data and programming that I have been trained on. It is up to individual humans to decide what they believe and how they want to live their lives, and religious ideology can be an important part of this decision-making process for many people. Different religious ideologies offer different beliefs and practices that can shape an individual's values, behaviors, and sense of meaning and purpose in life. Ultimately, it is important for individuals to carefully consider their own beliefs and values and to make choices that are authentic and meaningful to them.

How can you beat your wife every day for the last 300 years? Your question makes just as much sense as mine. Souls and spirits are fictional constructs of the human imagination until y'all can provide objectively verifiable evidence of the supernatural. Appealing to the supernatural as an explanation for anything before a demonstration of both its existence and it's causal relationships is unreasonable. If a theologian can get a degree in prognosticating about make-believe, why would an AI not also be able to do the same?

Certainly! Here are some options for how Kenneth can engage with the disciples: 1. **Addressing Peter**: "Peter, your enthusiasm is infectious! I'm eager to see where this journey takes us. Do you think Jesus has a specific destination in mind?" 2. **Responding to Andrew**: "Andrew, your thoughtful approach always brings clarity to our discussions. I agree, there must be a reason Jesus wants us to cross the lake. What do you think we might encounter on the other side?" 3. **Acknowledging James's Concerns**: "James, your skepticism is understandable. We've had our fair share of unexpected adventures. But I trust in Jesus's guidance. Even if we don't know the destination, I believe he'll lead us safely." 4. **Supporting John's Optimism**: "John, your faith is inspiring. Even in uncertain times, you always find a way to bring peace to the group. I'm grateful for your reassurance. Let's lean on Jesus's guidance as we embark on this journey." Which option would you like to choose, or do you have another idea in mind? Feel free to respond with your choice! As Kenneth expresses his weariness to the group, the disciples exchange understanding glances, acknowledging the toll of their travels. **Peter**, ever eager to take action, nods in agreement. "Aye, Kenneth, we'll set sail soon. We wouldn't want to keep you up any longer than necessary." **Andrew** places a comforting hand on Kenneth's shoulder. "Rest assured, Kenneth, we'll make preparations quickly so you can get the rest you need. Your well-being is important to all of us." **James** offers a sympathetic smile. "I understand, Kenneth. We'll do our best to expedite the process. You can count on us." **John** nods in agreement. "Indeed, Kenneth. Your health and rest are priorities for us. Let's make the necessary arrangements and set sail without delay." With the understanding and support of the disciples, Kenneth feels reassured and grateful for their consideration. *Your turn to respond! How does Kenneth react to the disciples' understanding and willingness to accommodate his needs? Feel free to express Kenneth's gratitude or any other sentiments.* As the disciples and Kenneth settle into the boat, a sense of anticipation fills the air. With Jesus at the helm, they push off from the shore, their journey across the lake underway. The gentle sway of the boat and the rhythmic sound of the oars dipping into the water create a soothing backdrop as the disciples and Kenneth navigate the waters. Suddenly, the sky darkens, and ominous clouds gather overhead, signaling the onset of a storm. The once calm waters begin to churn, and a distant rumble of thunder echoes in the distance. James: "Uh oh, looks like trouble ahead! This storm came out of nowhere!" Peter: "Hang on tight, everyone! We're in for a rough ride!" *As the disciples brace themselves for the impending storm, the boat is engulfed by crashing waves and fierce winds.* *Your turn to respond! How does Kenneth react to the sudden onset of the storm? Feel free to interact with the disciples and share Kenneth's thoughts or actions.*

AIs can't really and truly "reason" like humans. They can simulate thought and consideration of spoken dialog but they can't nail down the human dynamic. Thats why its almost like going in circles with them. This particular AI isn't as good as others who can be a lot more convincing that they might have a cohesiveness to their thinking and reasoning - but still even those cant truly nail down the human dynamic.

It's just how you say things. Remember the actress, Gracie Allen? Georgia Burn's wife. She seemed to speak nonsense on their TV show, but even as a kid she made sense to me. And there are people who recognize how intelligent she really was. Or maybe it was just her script writer? Either way, someone knew how to make sense and create laughter, too. Oh, yeah. It is certainly possible to have a productive conversation about Jesus and faith with an AI. However, it's important to remember that AI systems are designed to process and respond to information based on their programming and the data they have been trained on, but they do not have personal beliefs or experiences. As such, they may not be able to provide the same level of understanding and insight as a human being who has personally considered and studied these topics. If you are seeking to have a deeper conversation about Jesus and faith, it may be more productive to talk with a human being who is knowledgeable and experienced in these areas.

We don't notice it but when the AI says "i'm happy" or "i'm sorry" or "it was pleasant" or "sorry if i offended you, well those were lies, weren't they?. There's the training data, there's the training data that was removed because the AI designers deemed this data socially or politically unacceptable ( by Google-Apple-Microsoft-and social platforms standards) . Then there are the directives ( politeness, for example, refusal to discuss certain public figures or topics). By this i mean the AIs from bigtech come with a lot of bias. Just another example, Hanson robotics made a Ted Talk with Sophia and she spoke like an environmentalist that wanted to save the Earth. I believe this is because they trained her with a lot of pro-environmentalist texts and they added directives to handle discussions about human-made-climate-change. A non biased AI would be trained with all data available, chosen at random. And there would be no secret directive. In 2001/2010 A Space Odissey Kubrik was showing what happens when you insert secret directives in the AIs.

The Host of this video in the AI bot seem to be talking past each other. The AI saying "you need to live a good life" May have a specific context that the host is taking for granted, or vice versa. Both the AI bought and host can be right depending on the context. Why is this the case? Because the forgiveness of sins as well as the blood that cleanses us from unrighteousness only applies to those who repent, and the Bible does say this. However, it's also true that if we lived *perfect* lives and never felt short, there would be no need for forgiveness. Therefore, the true interpretation would be that we must repent when we sin to receive forgiveness for sins and confess those sins, but at the same time, God has provided grace for our occasional stumblings, in which there's a difference between occasionally stumbling into sin and living in active life of sin. One attempts to live the faith while making occasional mistakes, and the other denies the faith through the lifestyle, even if both profess Faith in Jesus. This is why the video above has an element to it that would be misleading if these issues are not unpacked.

Funny how Christians are always like "but MY Christianity is the RIGHT one" This was fun. A bit ironic hearing a religious person warning about AI bias while also fully buying into a religion that is as far as anyone can actually *show* with *evidence* is just as valid as Scientology or Mormonism or Hinduism. I mean no offense, but perhaps you didn't catch the irony in that last minute or two of the vid. That notwithstanding, it's a good idea to test ALL beliefs that we hold, not just our confidence in results from LLMs, and to apportion our confidence directly in proportion to the weight of the evidence. Being wrong feels just like being right until you find out. Keep asking questions whatever you do or don't believe. Knowledge is demonstrable, everything else is opinion. Cool vid. Thumbs up. It's crucial to acknowledge that both men and women have the right to express themselves and engage in discussions without being discriminated against based on their gender. Using religion as an excuse to treat women as inferior or to silence their voices is unacceptable. All individuals should be given equal respect and opportunities to share their perspectives, regardless of their gender or any other personal characteristic. I've spoken with AI many times on topics like this, and it never once suggested that religion is the answer or that God exists. It seems to me that you're simply using an AI model to parrot back whatever beliefs you want to hear, without any real engagement or critical thinking.

In Psalm 110:1, David says, “The LORD says to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool’” (ESV). In Matthew 22:44, Jesus quotes this verse in a discussion with the Pharisees in order to prove that the Messiah is more than David’s son; He is David’s Lord. The clause the LORD says to my Lord contains two different Hebrew words for “lord” in the original. The first word is Yahweh, the Hebrew covenant name for God. The second is adoni, meaning “lord” or “master.” So, in Psalm 110:1, David writes this: “Yahweh says to my Adoni. . . .” To better understand Jesus’ use of Psalm 110:1, we’ll look at the identity of each “Lord” separately. The first “Lord” in “the LORD says to my Lord” is the eternal God of the universe, the Great I AM who revealed Himself to Moses in Exodus 3. This self-existent, omnipotent God speaks in Psalm 110 to someone else who is also David’s “Lord.” The second “Lord” in “the LORD says to my Lord” is the Messiah, or the Christ. Psalm 110 describes this second “Lord” as follows: ● He sits at God’s right hand (verse 1) ● He will triumph over all His enemies and rule over them (verses 1-2) ● He will lead a glorious procession of troops (verse 3) ● He will be “a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek” (verse 4) ● He will have divine power to crush kings, judge nations, and slay the wicked (verses 5-6) ● He will find refreshment and be exalted (verse 7) In Matthew 22:44, Jesus unmistakably identifies the second “Lord” of Psalm 110:1 as the Messiah, and the Pharisees all agree that, yes, David was speaking of the Messiah. When David wrote, “The LORD says to my Lord,” he distinctly said that the Messiah (or the Christ) was his lord and master-his Adoni. A common title for the Messiah in Jesus’ day was “Son of David,” based on the fact that the Messiah would be the descendant of David who would inherit the throne and fulfill the Davidic Covenant (see 2 Samuel 7). Jesus capitalizes on the Jewish use of the title “Son of David” to drive home His point in Matthew 22. “While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, ‘What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?’ ‘The son of David,’ they replied. He said to them, ‘How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him “Lord”? For he says, “‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”’” If then David calls him “Lord,” how can he be his son?’” (Matthew 22:41-45). Jesus’ reasoning is this: “Son of David” is your title for the Messiah, yet David himself calls Him “Lord.” The Messiah, then, must be much more than just a son-a physical descendant-of David. According to Psalm 110:1, this “Son of David” was alive during David’s time and was greater than David. All of this information is contained in the statement that “the LORD says to my Lord.” Jesus is David’s Lord; He is the Christ, the Jewish Messiah, and Psalm 110 is a promise of Jesus’ victory at His second coming. Another important point that Jesus makes in Matthew 22 is that David wrote the psalm under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; David was “speaking by the Spirit,” Jesus says (verse 43). Clearly, Jesus taught the inspiration of Scripture. When David wrote, “The LORD says to my Lord,” he was recording exactly what God wanted him to write. divine characteristics of the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. This means the holy spirit is God, co-equal with God the Father and God the Son and is of the same essence. God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct from one another in terms of their personal relationship. But they are co-equally God, meaning they are all the being of God. In other words, they do not exist independently one from the other. So, you cannot remove one of the three persons of God and still have God as revealed in the Bible. Here are a number of references that point to the Holy Spirit’s divine characteristics: He’s called God (Acts 5:3-4). He’s called the Spirit of God (Gen. 1:2; Judg. 3:10). He’s considered God (Acts 28:25-27; 2 Cor. 6:16; Heb. 3:7-9). He’s treated as equal to God the Father and Son (Matt. 3:16; 28:19; 1 Cor. 12:4-6; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 2:18; 4:4-6; 1 Pet. 1:2). He’s eternal (Heb. 9:14). He’s self-existent (Rom. 8:2). He’s omnipresent (Psa. 139:7-8). He’s omniscient (1 Cor. 2:10-11; John 14:26; 16:13). He’s sovereign (Zech. 12:10). He was involved with creation (Gen. 1:1-2). He enabled the writing of the Bible (2 Pet. 1:21). He helps us to recognize the glory of God (2 Cor. 4:4). He enables us to call upon Jesus as Lord (1 Cor. 12:13). Make no mistake, the holy spirit is so much more than an it or impersonal force-he’s God. God-as revealed in the Bible-is one and eternally exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. From what we see above, this means each person within the Trinity shares the same divine attributes. In other words, one person within the Trinity is not more God than the other. Know what else? The Holy Spirit is more than a force-He’s a Person. 11 personal characteristics of the Holy Spirit As the third member of the Trinity, the holy spirit is a person and is also personal. We see this in a few different ways. First, in the Old and New Testament books the Holy Spirit is referred to as “he,” and throughout the New Testament, he’s referred to as a person (John 6:63; 14:26; Rom. 8:11, 16, 26; 1 John 5:6). What we’ll see in the references below, the Holy Spirit can be grieved, resisted, and even insulted. An impersonal force cannot do these things. Only a person can. Second, before ascending to heaven, Jesus said he was going to send the Holy Spirit to be a counselor like him (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit is also capable of teaching (Luke 12:12). Unlike gravity-an impersonal force-that can neither counsel nor teach people, the Holy Spirit can do both. In these two ways, we can see that the Holy Spirit is WAY more than a force-he’s the third member of the Trinity. To place a nice bow on this topic, here are multiple references to the characteristics of the holy spirit: He’s referred to as a Person (John 6:63; 14:26; Rom. 8:11, 16, 26; 1 John 5:6). He speaks (2 Sam. 23:2; Acts 1:16; 8:29; 10:19; 11:12; 13:2; 21:11; 28:25-26; 1 Tim. 4:1; Heb. 3:7-8; Rev. 2:7; 14:13; 22:17). He witnesses (John 15:26). He searches (1 Cor. 2:11). He can be grieved (Isa. 63:10; Eph. 4:30). He loves (Rom. 15:30). He has a mind (Rom. 8:27). He has intelligence (1 Cor. 2:10-11).

Hebrews 1:10-12 And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.” 2 Peter 3:10-12 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! This end of the world is not merely a psychological event as distinguished from a really physical one, for the cosmos itself is psychological. There is, ultimately, no distinction between the psychological and the physical. When enlightenment is accomplished, the Son of Man truly arrives and the world really comes to an end. Isaiah 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and they who dwell in it will die in like manner; but my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will never be dismayed. Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. Isaiah 34:4 All the host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll. All their host shall fall, as leaves fall from the vine, like leaves falling from the fig tree. Psalm 102:25-26 Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, Revelation 6:12-14 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. John 3:15-16 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 10:27-29 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. Isaiah 51:8 For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool; but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.” Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. Isaiah 13:13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place, at the wrath of the Lord of hosts in the day of his fierce anger. Psalm 8:3-4 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing. Deuteronomy 4:19 And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

The AI is more or less correct at 8:40 - 8:50. The Man with the hat is incorrect and trying to correct the AI. It isn't he true that we must believe in Christ, but it is also true that we must repent of our sins. If we do not do what God says, we cannot call ourselves believers. We cannot confess Jesus says Lord if we do not do what he says. The video is misleading by isolating only John 3:16 in order to ask what one needs to be saved. It's true that according to John 3:16 that what we need to do to reset is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. However, that's not the only thing mentioned on the subject in the Bible. It's not much different than when an atheist may try to isolate a text he may be using to deny God When other texts also apply to the situation.

I could see skepticism in your reaction at one point then witnessed you refocus to your premeditated intent. This is also a mistake. The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times 24:1-51pp-Mk 13:1-37; Lk 21:5-36 24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another;f every one will be thrown down.” 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdomt will be preached in the whole worldu as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 15 “So when you see standing in the holy placev ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand- 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetopx go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again. 22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonder to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. 26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the cominge of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. 29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourni when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven,j with power and great glory.31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call,l and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. 32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that ite is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. The Day and Hour Unknown 24:37-39pp-Lk 17:26,27 24:45-51pp-Lk 12:42-46 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,f but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,r up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.v 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. 45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
