No one going say anything about how CC and her starting teammates are having to go up against a coach who seems to be working against them in sabotaging them every game in outright doing the job for the opponent in taking the ball out of CCs hands and putting wheeler in control of the game, then freezing her out of the game all but intentionally trying to loose the game…in 8:34 minutes and having a -16 ratings blowing their 30pt lead…of course they were frustrated.

While , I do think that she is not the right coach for the team to win a chip… She’s not trying to sabotage… She’s trying to throw other looks because the fever had such a large lead… The mercury only had one star out of its core four and was able to cut it from a 30+ lead to a four-point deficit! The hard truth is the fever need to get another good draft pick this year because no one in the league wants to come to Indiana and live in Clarks shadow or play in a place that is hostile to her teammates. They won’t talk about this… But it is true… MANY (not all) of her fans use her for their own personal reasons and LITERALLY THREATEN her teammates. And because of the salary cap you cannot offer good players a lot of $, no one is excited to come and play in Indiana… the women in the W play for passion and EVERYTHING in Indiana is about CC. The sad thing is, CC herself want to focus on her teammates. I wish ppl would just let her play!

I too am a new FAN of the WNBA - I'm an old HS BBALL coach - PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND ONE THING. Why don't they GUARD Wilson outside of 5 feet? She is the best player on the planet - AMAZING! But, when she receives the ball outside the paint, she has time for a smoke and a few breaths before shooting. I'm waiting for her to take an imaginary cell phone call before shooting!!! LOL It's strange to me!

@@SaturnFrost Ok, Ive watched five whole games. Reese is a really good player, very strong instincts for the ball down low, and not afraid to run the court. Cardoso is her equal, where Cardoso is slower down the court than reese, she has much better footwork on the post. The Stats in the last ten games show this. REESE is not guard at side of 6 feet, she misses a ton of shots, her FGP is TERRIBLE, and leads the league in getting her shot blocked. Impact on the team??? Her 8 Def Reb Per gm is strong, and she is a ball hunter. So yes - she is a strong rookie! The Sky have three strong players down low who can replace each other, HOWEVER, where, as a coach, I would play Reese at crunch time down low because she has a NOSE FOR THE BALL! That is a real thing. And Reese has it! The sky live and die by Carter! Carter killed the Aces! Wow, Carter can really play.

@@mkingadiffernceWilson been developed a 3pt shot a few years ago, she just gets better at it each year. That’s why she’s unguardable, because she’s a big that can score in every way with being the biggest threat on defense too. Wilson can drive to the basket from the 3point line past a guard. Not much bigs even has the handling control and speed to do that. Aces have the best squad in the league though, been that way for 4 years straight really. There’s enough help lol. I’ve been an Aces fan for years. Jackie Young is arguably the number two option at times, who’s the highest paid player in the league. Her and Plum sometimes switch between the 2nd and 3rd option. Young can rebound, assist, steal, lock down a guard, score 20 any game if she wants. She averages .4 more points a game than Plum, along with more rebounds. Note that she’s leading Aces in assists per game. She’s more versatile as a scorer when compared to my favorite guard Plum. Aces have 4 multi-all star players. Their bench is 3 and D players. Gray coming back is the reason why they started winning again, because she completes them as the team captain with her discipline on both sides. Gray allows Plum and & Young to play more freely, with also cleaning up the passing.

Get rid of the term "double double" A 10-10 (either points with rebound or points with the same). is a double double but so is 33-18 and 20-13. Give the numbers. And since when is getting 10 points in the game for a starter some great accomplishment? Double double is one of the dumbest, most overhyped stats that the media or whoever came up with it has come up with. AFAIC, A'ja is by far the best player in the league. She dominates on both ends and Clark is the best rookie and well above any of the others. While Clark has room for improvement, she's a rookie. So we'll see just how far she goes. Whether Clark gets credit for it with ROTY or not, I don't really care at this point. It's like to me Chennedy Carter is an all star even if she's not going to the All-Star game.

If I was the coach of the fever I would have called up Steve Kerr and asked him for his exact offense and put my little sauce on it. The reason being is because that’s separate cc becoming steph curry or James harden. This would separate them winning chips in the future vs just getting to the playoffs. That mixture of pop/ Phil offense is was so tough to beat and I really believe if they got the players and ran that offense they would be tough to beat because players would have to guard cc everywhere on the court. This is what made curry so dangerous and still dangerous guard him everywhere on the court and it opens up everybody. They need a player like draymond on there team but of course in the version of a woman.

Wrong woman it aint because of aja of where wnba goes its CAITLIN CLARK! Tell the truth especially the narryou idiots spinning between her and angel reese. CC so far is ranked ahead of her in everything except rebounds and yet cc has a fair amount of them and cc is in every category of offense and defense categories and angel reese is not especially on defensive blocks in which you would think angel reese would have more as she is taller but Caitlin Clark has more😊. Right..both Aja and CC are at the top of all the opponents scouting reports. But if CC is so subpar as all her haters claim, why are they double teaming her? Aja I can understand. And now CC's passing numbers are killing the double teams. This girl is next level and is only a rookie. Aja is MVP but she seldom seems to need her team. For me personally Caitlin's style of play is just so much more beautiful to watch especially when she's feeding her team and scoring in rhythm. As Magic called it: "Beautiful basketball."

It's called pick your poison. A'ja is deadly in the paint. They would rather her shoot 3s and you heard this year she is a 40% 3 shooter. Career a 35% 3 shooter. Caitlin. They press her coming up court and around the perimeter, butnthey'd rather her shoot because she's streaky. Last night she's 2 - 7 and I believe she's hovering around 32 to 34 from 3. Which if I was facing her, I'd prefer.
@leslieroberts4130
@leslieroberts4130 25 күн бұрын
A'ja can drive past anyone at will or create her own shot with minimal space, she's unguardable. She gets space on the perimeter because opponents sell out to keep her outside the paint and midrange where she is most deadly.
