I was born in Japan and lived there for 4 years and I remember the old traveling food carts and ramen/soba stalls late at night. What a wonderful childhood memory!

That rating is pretty amazing given how hard people in Japan rate restaurants, around 3 stars is generally pretty good already.

Yeah I noticed that Japanese reviewers are extremely difficult to please on Japanese food sites. "Very good. 3/5." 😂

That's not gonna work you need a license to breathe in this country and to get that you need to go to school so the system can rip you off but teach you virtually NOTHING while those in countries like Japan pass you by. Years ago I tried to set up a Kiosk in a Mall to sell only a few items but the bureaucracy and association with Mall underlings wouldn't even talk to me. This country is nothing like it used to be. Young girls used to sell lemonade in the summer in NJ yeah try that today, girls. Food trucks here in Florida gets the same royal screw treatment a license to breathe regardless of how good the food you're selling may be.

Kudos to these 2 young men are just amazing...how they can cook so many different dishes all to homemade perfection. Assembling and disassembling is a major production. I wish them well and if they ever get a restaurant that they will continue to serve the same kind of food with the same care. Did I miss their ages or did they not tell us?

Are all the food stalls cashless ? I’ve watched a lot of street vendors and haven’t seen no transactions with cash yet!

Compared to other yatai videos this place is kinda expensive for street food. Looks good though
Well, he's not a genius, first thing you learn in the kitchen - communication. Food not ideal too, a lot of rough ends. Menu too big, it will take its toll in the end. Good video, but there's a big and long way to go, older people more refine and professional with food
