This is cool to see shutdown instead of prep or running. I use to take the last train into Fukuoka when I worked at eikawa around the prefecture. I'd see this on my one hour walks home from Hakata and Tenjin. The walks helped me relax compared to going one or two more stations to be home quicker.

It's amazing. That Abe-san and other Yatai stall owners clean up the spot they were occupying that evening. 😊👍👍👍 We rarely (or never) see this where I'm from with road side stall owners. The place becomes so filthy through the years. They even leave their booths there parmanently. 😅

Dont want to be a downer, but honestly, there is better food in fukuoka. When I went recently, most of the yatai were expensive tourist traps and the food was nothing special. Youre better off eating at a normal restaurant
