A Japanese woodworker cuts a pentagonal roof member at breakneck speed

This time, I took a picture of carving corners from the carving process of the [National Qualification] 1st grade carpenter technician task (trial task) that was changed in 2024.
We perform basic engraving such as through holes, short tenons with slopes, and notches with girder entanglements.
The biggest point of this assignment is that the test time is short.
The time required for the engraving process has a great deal to do with whether you pass or fail, so please use this amount of time as a guideline.

@@daiku-manual 割り込んですいません。 なんの木ですか？普段使うような杉松桧ではないと思いますけど、メルサワでもないですよね、少し堅そうな感じかな？

今回刻んでいるのはトガです。 以前の課題に合わせて講習で用意していただいてました。 試験は木材価格高騰の影響で今年は杉と聞いています。 杉は杉で癖があるんですよね

@@daiku-manual そうなんですか、ありがとうございます。 乾燥した材なら良いけど自分が受けた時はほぼ生だったんで生の桧はやりにくかったです。
