It’s amazing how you render such things as glass. Transparent and translucent things.

Thanks! Someone thought it might have traveled over the ice in the winter. I posted it to the community facebook page and someone with a proper boat is going to fetch it and see if it has a name on it.

Too funny ---- LOL! A few days ago I was looking into pastels - to include pan pastels -- and had watched some of your reviews and your jellyfish tutorial. How did you KNOW????!!! Part of me wants to branch out into other media but the other part is saying, "Whoa girl, work on mastering what you already have." Let's see how long I last in my resolve.

Well, that was amazing.......Those shells turned out beautifully. I wonder if you could spray that workable fixative in between to add more layers?

Pan pastels are less Dusty? That could be an option for limited pallet sketches. One more can of fixative, pad of paper, a few tools and four pans of pastels. Hmmm. I might be able to sneak that into the house without notice.😎 Thanks Lindsay. Lovely painting. Or just the pencils? Hmmm.

They are less dusty. A bit of a learning curve, but I've been enjoying mine a lot. They lay down so smooth and creamy too. Can be really fun to use :)

This is excellent! Any chance you could post a link for the brush tastic tool from Joann’s? I tried looking for it on their site but can’t find it. I try to Google search and didn’t come up with anything either. Thank you!

I'll try and find it when I'm on my computer later. I got mine in store near the inks and ranger products.

Im such a cheat... I use cheapy earswop cleaners, you know, those little cotton bulbs on thend of that stick... im not a fan of messy hands but i do love my pastel pencils,so voila, lol. I struggle btw with my jars and i never seem to be able to get them in that rounded shape without the edges getting crooked on me; even have that when i turn it upside down or use a ruler.. anyone else had that and do you have any advise for me? Would be very much apreciated caus I so love those mason jar paintings ❤

I tried using pastel pencils for this project but it was so messy when I went to blow/brush off the excess I gave up because it looked so messy. Any hints for using pastels?

If you ever want to determine the toxicity of a product/medium, Google the product name + SDS (panpastels are certified nontoxic): www.dick-blick.com/msds/DBH_SDS_21934XXXX.pdf
