nice! You will find most people you discuss this with will want to rip your head off and perhaps condemn you even as a heretic. It's really sad. They will get so angry. But if this is your understanding, unless that changes, you must be loving but bold about it no matter what. God revealed universalism to me directly telling me His plan straight up in direct communication to me.

@@bradvincent2586 you say "are you serious?? " --- yes. I was marveling over the love God revealed to me that he had for his enemies, people living lives in rebellion against Him. He loves them more than I love anyone combined was revealed to me. I never even considered or heard of universalism at this time mind you. I merely was pondering the amazing love God has for the lost and I prayed to God silently asking him how is it that he can bear losing these ones he loves to this degree for a period that never ends. That was what I believed the Bible taught and was raised with that doctrine mind you. Never questioned it, never doubted it, didn't fully understand it but heard all the explanations men give for it. Always cringed telling people about it slightly because they said it's so mean and I would say well don't blame me, that is just what the Bible teaches, don't shoot the messenger so to speak. So anyways, I expected God to explain to me that his love would just fade for them over time and that he would eventually just forget about them or he is able to compartmentalize the pain he will feel for their loss and just not think on it or something like that. I expected him to defend his decision on never ending torment for them and help me to understand how he bears it or will bear it emotionally for all the ages to come. The answer I got literally came out of NOWHERE and my jaw dropped and eyes grew wide in total shock and amazement. He quoted to me a simple response that at first I did not even see how it answered my question. My question was how do you bear this sad fate of so many you love from an emotional perspective, how can you take this level of pain this will cause you basically. His answer was this: Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. --- so I'm like wait... you know we are taught yeah, they will do so, but they won't mean it or yeah, they will do so, but it won't change a thing and will be done under compulsion or yeah, they will do so, but shortly afterward, they will still be cast into the Lake of Fire neverendingly so it will be a mere bowing and confessing of defeat before entering the sentence. But in the context of this question I asked, it necessarily had to take on a entirely different meaning than these typical explanations would give. For after all, if they bow and confess but that changes their fate zero, then the question I asked still remains, how will you bear the emotional pain their fate will cause you Lord? Nothing about a empty bowing and confessing would erase the pain of seeing them tormented neverendingly and this pain would, for the heart of God himself, be unimaginable torment for God himself that would never end for God. He would in his own heart be as tormented as they are unless he had some solution like to will himself to stop caring or something like that. But he was answering my question directly. He was telling me I was reading that verse wrong up till now. That verse is telling me how God will survive the pain of their loss: They will not stay lost neverendingly. Instead, they will bow and confess Jesus is Lord and be saved in their genuine worship and surrender to Christ as their Lord. This verse describes their conversion to Christ, not merely a last act before their final punishment ensues, but the act instead that marks the end of their suffering incurred during that punishment. And so that is how God will cope with the sadness of their suffering: He will endure their suffering full of love for them, knowing that their suffering is a means to an end that is glorious reconciliation of all things unto Himself. That was the revelation. I then got hundreds of confirmations and studied scriptures to see if this new teaching is true and found it to be aboundingly true all over scripture and have been studying this truth ever since and can defend it against anybody. Also, after being wholly convinced of this truth, I genuinely thought I was the only person on earth or in history to ever know this truth. I assumed I was the first person God ever revealed it to because nobody had EVER mentioned anything like it to me in my whole life (34 years since my first conversion to Christ and not a peep about it). So I was shocked to find a rich church history of people who also had this revelation and wrote books about it and taught it going all the way back to the founding fathers of the church.

Wow! I grew up in Baptist churches. So I was used to pastors yelling and pounding the pulpit while saying "don't take my word on it, READ YOUR BIBLE FOR YOURSELF!" I heard that soooo often. The idea of a pastor refusing to answer questions on scripture is so bizarre. Granted, a Baptist pastor is going to explain scripture in their conservative way, but at least they'll discuss scripture with you.

Every Pascha, millions of Orthodox Christians sing the beautiful Paschal hymn "Christ is Risen from the Dead" "Christ is risen from the dead. By death he vanquished death. And to those in the tombs, He granted life." And they don't believe a word of it, for if you float by them the idea that Christ really did vanquish death and there is no hell (which is a state if eternal death) they will lose their minds!

You're right about what you're saying this note here is not just for you but it's in general preachers need to quit calling themselves pastors because the word pastor in the Bible refers to the eldership it means Shepherd the elders are the shepherds of the flock not the preacher. Also preachers need to stop calling themselves Reverend because the Bible says Reverend and holy is his name where do men get the audacity to wear a title that is reserved for God go to your Bible and see what Jesus said about exalted titles he said be you not call Rabbi and call no man your father Jesus denounced exalted titles a man is not a reverend

Re Chewie.. The lake of fire. Rev 2:11 Now, listen up with your inner ears. Hear with understanding what the Spirit is saying to the ekklesia: the individual who 1continues to see their triumph mirrored in mine [their co-seatedness with me in the throne room], is 2most certainly not threatened by any 3contradiction to their true likeness; there is nothing to fear 4in the second death. (The word 1nikoon, is the Present Active Participle Nominative, form of the verb nikao, to emphasize a continual or habitual victory. Then the double negative, οὐ μὴ ἀδικηθη 2ou mey, plus the verb, 3adikeō, meaning unrighteous; out of sync with likeness - with a, negative and dikeo, two parties sharing likeness - adikeythey is the Aorist Subjunctive form, meaning a definite outcome that will happen as a result of another stated action. The Preposition, ἐκ [4ek, mostly pointing to source, but here used for the agent or instrument] τοῦ θανάτου τοῦ δευτέρου the second death. So, in context of the previous verse [Rev 2:10], "You have no need to fear anything you might suffer at any time", the Second Death is not to distract from the once and for all death that Jesus died, but to endorse it. In the lake of fire, Death and Hades are eradicated from memory. The first death is the once and for all death that Jesus died, representing the global death of humankind. Jesus' death took mankind's death in Adam, out of the equation. The idea of the Second Death has to do with the fact that the revelation of the full extent of everyone’s inclusion in the death of Jesus, has not yet dawned on some - so it will take a crisis, even their own death, to immediately engage them with the symbolic cleansing [from their doubts, ignorance and unbelief] represented by the lake of burning sulphur, purifying like in a furnace, separating the gold from the dross-mindsets. This is the ultimate awakening to the success of the cross - the realizing that even Death and Hades itself died in Jesus' death. It is indeed the death of Death. Rev 20:14. See my notes on The Lake of Fire and the Second Death at the end of Rev 19. But here, specifically in Smyrna's case, the intensity of their persecution is neutralized by their realizing that gold is never threatened by fire. Remember the One talking is he who said, I am the Living One; I died and now, see, here I am alive unto the ages of the ages and I have the keys wherewith I have disengaged the gates of Hades and death. Rev 1:18. Also Heb 9:25-28. He thus broke the spell of the supposed claim of judgment and death over the Adamic race. The significance of the implications of Jesus’ death cannot be exaggerated. It reaches into the entire past, present and future of human history. As representative of the human race, Jesus Christ fulfilled mankind’s destiny with death and judgment. [1 Cor 15:3-5, Rom 4:25, Acts 17:30, 31.] Note: Jesus did not come to condemn the world. The Father judges no one for he has handed over all judgment to the Son, who judged the world in righteousness.) The Mirror Study Bible (app.mirrorword.net)

Why would a Muslim have a problem with bowing their knee and calling Jesus (pbuh) Lord? Jesus is the greatest prophet--why wouldn't they honor him? Why couldn't a Hindu call Jesus Lord? Jesus is a great avatar. Or a Buddhist? Jesus is a great bodhisattva. Or an athiest? Jesus is a great humanitarian. "Lord" just means "great man." "Every knee shall bow" doesn't mean "Everyone will become a Christian." It just means that everyone will acknowledge that Jesus was a great man and great teacher. You don't have to believe anything about Jesus for God to save you. God saves you because you're His child and He loves you. Universal salvation doesn't depend on Jesus--it depends on God's universal love.
