A journey through brain tumor removal - UF Health Neurosurgery

Elizabeth Wiard’s routine headaches turned into migraines. After several doctor appointments, she learned she had a brain tumor, which needed to be surgically removed. But thanks to a successful high-stakes operation by UF Health neurosurgeon Dr. Daryoush Tavanaiepour, Elizabeth’s tumor is gone and she’s now back to her nursing duties at UF Health Jacksonville.
