When you have 500+ males they tend to sync up hahahaha

@@BFLBob usually yes in this case we will actually keep all together to get an accurate weight

us crazy Canadian us the grams. but to be honest I always record both grams and oz. in my books i find grams easier for eggs but oz is easier for me to compute in my head for the quail themselves.

Just so you know, atleast with your hens you accidentally pressed 7.1 instead of 8.1 in the calculator.. your average is actually 8.09 for the hens!! Even better!

Could you share the sex totals also? Seems like there were alot of males? Also have you found jumbo to produce more male than females vs standards?

It is usually 55-60% male. I can look at that add them up for the Sunday live video

@@MyshireFarm - Any idea why there are always more males? I seem to end up with at least 60% males from every hatch.

@@shanes.1691 My guess is nature overseeing. Male is more vocal especially during breeding season, which is risky. So more male to offset the loss of male falling prey to predators.
