I am switching over to raising just the jumbo quail now as we eat ours and these weights are so much higher than the regular quail.. just makes good sence to go for the bigger birds for food

Purchased some of the Jumbo White hatching eggs from Myshire a few month ago. They came in a Jumbo Mix. Very happy with them. The White seem to be the largest in the group but there were not many Jumbo Wild in the mix of 120. Mostly White and Egyptian, maybe 10 Jumbo wild hatched. Hatch was 87%, very good. Most of the White are weighing in at 10-11.5oz and not even 7wks old yet. Jumbo wild are holding close to this as well, bit smaller on average but may just be the bunch I got. The white seem to have a deeper longer breast and more plump, look to be an excellent meet bird but time will tell which end up being the best.... Happy with Myshire

Thank you so much for your videos! I am a newbie and considering purchase of cage system from Hatching Time. I'm worried that if I go with Jumbo Wilds, the quail cages would be too short in height for these larger birds. Am I crazy?
