Best explanation I’ve heard yet, by far. Thank you.

Brilliant video. Your explanation of the body dynamics is really helpful.

Six days ago I raised the question with you of timing the release and you have responded magnificently. Thank you so much Jonathan. Your articulate explanation and demonstration is excellent and every student of golf should watch it and rehearse it again and again. You have excelled yourself and if I don't learn from this lesson and develop a powerful and properly timed golf swing, I shall have only myself to blame! Robbie Sprague

Excellent video on the timed release Jonathon! I like the thought of "the right shoulder overtaking the trail knee." It's kind of like a "hockey player slap shot" which I occasionally use in my thought process. I will definitely practice what you're suggesting. Keep up the good work Jonathan!

Well done. A perspective rarely shown by other golf instructors and yet is so critical to the release. Get that feeling of trail shoulder over the trail knee before straightening up the lead side and triggering the catapult. Excellent thought to keep in mind during the swing for tempo and timing.

Great content, like always, working on this at the moment. And the trail shoulder concept work. Another is the start of the downswing, with keeping the head in place allows, to come from the inside and everything flow together, even without think about it. On a good way for the next season !👍

Another great video JT but unless (nobody will do this!) you work on golf related hand eye coordination drills you wont have the ability or confidence to collect the ball with a sq clubface, and take full advantage of JTs great videos!Every good golfer can bounce a ball on a wedge! My other big tip would be to focus on the decal/shaft at impact rather than grip or head.

Great vid. So many coaches now teach bend wrist or wrist rolled like DJ. But they don’t teach when u release those angles or is this effect from momentum direction change or is you force those wrist bend with our arm muscles

Good as always but you didnt show impact position. If we look at this film it looks like the shoulders are way opend at inpact. But wouldn't the shoulders instead be square or a litle bit open at impact?

Would you mind commenting on what the arms are doing when you release. Are they pushing out and then up and around ? Thanks !!
