Im on the verge of being evicted from my first apartment of my own. I got it because I was in a residential drug treatment program and put in a lot of work pursuing applications for subsidized housing and by Grace of God my name came up at right time and place. I advocated for myself and was able to be honest to the housing agency and I got this place I truly love and desperately don't want to lose. I too know homelessness, jail,and shelter life. No more, I need to stop now. You motivated me today.

Recovery is maddening and frustrating. Started going to NA meetings back in December. Just picked up my 6 month tag. I got reduced to zero. Family and friends wanted me to stay sick or worse. Lost everyone or had to walk away from everyone. I don’t trust people. Period. I don’t trust God. Period. I keep going to meetings but I fear the rug is going to get yanked out from under me at anytime. Looking for a sponsor but I don’t trust people….at all…..people and God have proved to me time and time again what happens when you are vulnerable or show weakness. I hate God.

Bro I can only tell you about me. I was down and out death was knocking at my door. I had no trust in people as well. All I made it my business to have a relationship with God. That didn't mean everything was perfect I tried everything that the world had to offer what did I have to loose. I put all my trust in him and 16years later I still put all my trust in him. I was a hopeless case but I never blame God for my bad choices in life. I will keep you in prayer that you may find peace.

My faith may fail me and sometimes will but never the less i'am going to trust God he has never fail me. Faith is believing that you will receive what you ask God for. Trust is when you don't always receive what you ask for but you know he's working for your good. I hope this helps 🙏
