I relapsed and I keep relapsing but I also keep trying to stay sober and make the right decisions. Just someone, anyone, please speak some positivity into this post because I’m currently on the worst of my relapses and it’s terrifying the thoughts

When I was listening to you talk it got me quite emotional.. My mom passed away yesterday Tuesday 7th may after the cancer returned..The thing is My daughter Yasmin passed away Friday 7th may 2021 she was only 24 years old,so it's been an emotional roller coaster, part of me feels at peace because my mom is no longer in pain & drugged up,scared & confused, but now there is an emptiness.. Life is crazy, the thing is we haven't had the best of relationships, mom & I.. but we we got together again & tried,we had a lovely Christmas, isn't it mad it's like we got back together just so we could have that time together because we knew subconsciously that we were near the end,I know that probably doesn't make sense, but I find it difficult explaining what I am thinking.. Please stay safe & take one day at a time, take care & peace be with you✌🏼☮🦋🔥🤘🏻💜✌🏼☮🦋🔥🤘🏻💜

Dan, I wonder if this is Bat Cave in the Lake Lure area? It sounds so familiar to me. I went through this cave once and will never again. Of course it is prohibited now. And yes, alcohol and drug addiction is a very dark place to be. But there's light at the end of the tunnel. I know it! I just have not found my way out to make it last. I can get sober time, then fall back whenever I feel weak I am searching for the strength to make it my way of life. I will never give up, but I'm getting tired. I'm a 67 year old woman who has survived cancer now for 8 years. Why can't I find my way to make sobriety from alcohol my way of life? Thank you for all your encouragement and prayers. 😊
