100% agreed, I remember going to the 2004 Silverstone GP as a Ralf Schumacher fan (even though he wasn’t there due to the usgp crash) and by the end of the Friday practices I left Silverstone as an Alonso fan! I was stood at the exit of vale and entrance to club corner, and every lap, every driver would have exactly the same braking points, the same exit line and entrance lines out of and into the corners, all very samey, and then along came Fernando, braking later, braking earlier, wider entrance,tighter entrance, every single lap you could physically see him pushing for optimal speed, I’ve never seen another driver with the same level of commitment to finding the fastest way round a race track since !! Be happy we’re all alive in the same time frame to actually witness history in the making, because I am sure of one thing, Fernando Alonso will go down as the greatest driver in history, even in two hundred years or so, I believe he won’t be bettered ! But that’s just my opinion though ;-)

Despite the fact that Stroll only has that AMR seat because his father owns the team, he always comes across well in all his interviews, and seems like a genuinely nice dude. Even Latifi, for all of his lack of talent, seemed like a really decent bloke during his years in F1. Guess this comment is just being made to say that just because a driver may not be your favorite, that you can still see that they are decent people who don't have to get hate directed at them through the internet.
