To the guys that are worried about not having a 24 fret guitar: Frets number dont matter folks!! Just play it in different key to suit your guitar guys. Yngwie shreds on a 21 fret guitar. Stop with the excuses

This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "paul paul guitar" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Ganyatty Guitar Gainify - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.

Same for me. It comes natural depending on the basic style you are used to. Gotta work on both, tho

My Legato is naturally better. I am practicing my alternate picking every week for at least 2 hours intensivly tho. I discovered that I prefer the sound of Legato over alternate picking. Except when playing metal and you need a neat ascending lick or change positions

That's one fucking great hell of a lick, Rick! :D Really, I love it soooo much! Great, great work, Mr. G.! :D I've just started and it's fun already! But one humble "correction": Just YOUR fingers want(ed) to do other things than the lick. Just because of your very widespread knowledge of the fretboard. ;) Sometimes, "mortals" like us don't recognize where we are on the fretboard instantly and that's the reason why the lick is a matter of movement-series, rather than a matter of visualization. Do you know, what I mean? It is very difficult for me to ask that in English, sorry. Rock on, man! \m/ :)

I know you can just transpose the piece down three frets if you haven't got 24 frets, which is what I will do, but its an unnecessary added chore when your learning off a video that's in a different key or pitch to what you are playing on a 21 or 22 fret guitar. I thinks its important that the learner can hear when they are matching the video note for note. Why present a challenge on top of a challenge??? Thanks for the video though, appreciated as always.
