Thank you, this video is just what i needed. I've been looking for a way to make an adaptive device that allows people to tie their hair back with one hand

Nice job! I watched 3 other videos and your's made the most sense because of the camera angle and it helped doing each knot twice. Yes, you should start a knot teaching KZbin channel. Hey, you could call it "knot for nothing"

I was looking for something like this to help me tie off the ends of latex, string, and rubber for my bead necklaces's and bracelets. Well demonstrated, too! Cheers 😉👍🏻👏🏼

Can you please start a KZbin knot tying channel. I find knots very stressful and your voice is very calming.

It is called the arbor knot, used to attach monofilament line to a spinning reel .

Damnnn this Knot works good bro
@Stephenwc3 жыл бұрын
It can be more effective to create the small stopper knot *after* creating the arbor knot and pulling it taut. Otherwise the knot prevents tightening all the way back to the tied off object (chair post in this case)

Almost all good knot tightens themself but all good knots shall be easy to undo completely.

isn't that a slip knot?
@matthewc.ganong54973 жыл бұрын
It's a noose, which behaves like a slip knot except that it tightens when one pulls on the standing rope, instead of the working end, as is the case with a slip knot. This noose around an object backed up with a stopper knot as you see in the video is called an arbor knot, and it is typically used to attach fishing line to the spool of the reel.
