Cool fork, thanks for the review and advice on the paint - I'll keep that in mind!

Great overview of the Tiger Fork! It really came out quite handsome even without any tassels or embellishments. Your haft seems a good length and I appreciate the experience with the applications of paint. Very helpful all around!

I haven't done any Southern styles but the tiger fork has always been one of those weapons that I ache to have in the collection. The uniqueness of it's turning, twisting and raking techniques seems really good for training certain body mechanics beyond just the application of the fork itself. Knowing LK Chen makes this one, inevitably it shall find its way to me. Great video! 😁

can you use a shorter trident as a firearm rest when shooting?

That is a good possibility!

Hey Sifu, thanks for your video(s). Comgrats on your versions of the fork. One thing for sure, the form tells us it is old, through its typical circular movements. PS could you show us basic Choy Lay Fut forms or how to beginer exercises, im a Wing Chun and Hung Gar student for 20+ and am very curious about other brother southern styles/insight

Yes, I have a couple of training videos out for now, but I do plan on filming a form!

Small question: the ends of the points looks quite thin/small. Would it easily bend, to your opinion? Has been waiting for a review of this lkchen tiger fork for a while. So great that a fellow southern style practitioner review it. 😊

They could if you had enough concentrated force, but the steel is flexible enough that it would most likely absorb the impact rather than let the tips bend out of shape.
