I'm partial to New England. Where else can you find varied places like mountains, small towns and oceanscapes and four distinct seasons so close together? There are other places that are great like Idaho but for variety close together, I like my home region of New England.

@@jeevang7853 I lived in PDX for 10 yrs (33 yrs ago), then had to moved back to TX against my wishes. There are "political issues and horrible drivers" everywhere you go. Oregon is a great place for Landscape Photography. I've traversed the many landscapes west of Bend, Oregon a handful of times. Like Always great share!!! I live on the Florida coast so near water all the time and salt air! When near the surf (never gone in) but I always use clear trash bags on my sticks and use a 2 1/2 gallon ziploc bag, put the camera in and rubber band it around the lens, you can see everything on the camera. IF IF you want to change a lens just put everything in a clear trash bag. The last thing I want is salt air inside a $2K camera. I have been doing this since the 70's with film cameras, yes a few laughs by passers by but everything still works 50 years later even the old sticks! also have an old photographers vest and keep bags in back pockets also dark trash bags to cover boardwalk lights at night doing MW captures. That place in Oregon is great for MW's with the sea stacks, use Planit Pro tide section to see as a sine wave of the tides in the hour section way better than using a tide chart in a paper.

Lovely video but would've loved it even more if you could've shown a few of those images after post. The part where you explained why you chose not to photograph some interesting scenes were helpful, something that many skip over.

Thanks so much! I'll have a review/edit video out next week showing all the images from the trip.
