My main concern about this watch is the lack of deployant clasp - opening the pin buckle will cost me precious seconds when I want to remove the watch and prove to my friends that it’s actually a fully mechanized movement and not a quartz movement as suggested by the dead beat seconds. These are important considerations.

That movement is just so damn cool.

Unbelievable piece but man the prices of these models are insane. Let the rich have their toys.

This is truly a special watch! A statement that does not always apply to the piece being shown. But in this case, it certainly is an understatement.

It is my dream to one day own an A. Lange & Söhne watch.

Habring has a watch with same complication minus the stop function

I respect the engineering and finishing. However, this is one of the least useful complications for me.

Moser gives you something more unique…and GO is better value for dress watches made in Germany.

I will ask the question,(being the asshole in the room) "born 1924, what was our friend Walter doing around 1944 or so"? Probably nothing. Maybe artillery tables for the "Ostheere"

3Hz….time to join the 20th century….
@adiands8509 ай бұрын
what benefit would that have?
@bmunson49209 ай бұрын
@@adiands850 accuracy. Or conversely if 3Hz is so great why aren’t watchmakers in a race to go to 1 Hz, or even .5 Hz. Silly question. On less expensive watches, reviewers call it ‘cheating’ when they lower the beat rate from 4 Hz. To 3Hz. to get a longer power reserve.
