A last Walking Tour in 2023 | Berlin Friedrichsfelde [4K and 3D Sound]

The year is coming to an end and this is the last walking tour of the year 2023. I am walking in Berlin Friedrichsfelde today, which is an area in the district of Lichtenberg. There are lots of houses from the former DDR (GDR) in this district, but there are many new built ones as well. So different times are facing each other in this area and it will be exciting to see how the area develops in the future.

To be honest, even though many of the buildings here are very plain, drab even public housing in Australia in that period was even uglier!

Yeah, you are right, there are uglier and worse buildings. I think the problem here is more the density of the buildings, the lack of space, the narrowness of the pure concrete... I mean, Berlin is a green city, but in some areas you can feel the narrowness of the city. Hard to describe, you´ll only know when spending some time in that place. 😉 Have a nice weekend.

Train stations U Friedrichsfelde and S Friedrichsfelde Ost are missing in this video in my opinion. Also the pedestrian bridge crossing the main road Alt Friedrichsfelde near by the Netto supermarket with view down to the huge intersection and all the way to the TV tower on the other side is kinda "mentionworthy" for a video like this…

Хороший район, мне очень понравилось. А реновированные дома в конце видео вообще замечательны. Обязательно приеду с визитом после того, как у нас закончится война с русскими азиатами в мой любимый европейский город.
