It always amazes me when I see an endmill used in the lathe like that. The lather is such a versatile tool.

Yeah, it is:) I got to get me some of those angle plates and accessories so I can do some milling in a pinch too. And a collet chuck set, and DRO, and and and... Hehe

Hi, Just wiring thermo up and noticed that the 220v in is wired different to the instruction on the terminal cover ? Not bothered really. Wired like you and it's working.

In principle the 'steady' camera mount is a good idea and you've implemented it well. However, I see 2 problems with it. 1. I very much doubt it's going to be that steady. 2. You don't really want the camera to travel, there's no need. The shot of work on the lathe really needs to be static and steady focusing on the cutting point. If the cutting point is moving over a large distance (unlikely on an ML7 or the mini-lathe) then widen the shot or take the shot in sections with cut-aways in-between the shots. I've seen others using traveling cameras on the carriage and it' makes for uncomfortable viewing. The camera is much better placed off the working machine so as to have a steady, vibration-free shot.
