You read my mind, I was going to suggest that you'd get a scale for your coffee making or hobby. Because I had recently purchased a digital food scale and it has made all the difference in brewing the perfect cup of coffee every single time, just like the coffee houses. I weigh the coffee and the amount of water and the drip coffee maker controls the brewing temperature and time. I would recommend people try this, food scales can be found for under 20 dollars...until the next one !!

I'm so much the opposite 😂 light café taste like tea for me. Having drunk café since a child. In PR when weaned from the mother at 5 they're given milk with little coffee and at 10yrs old it switches. And as well am picky on taste. Im into trying different ones as well. I do miss picking coffee beans in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 to laying them out kn the sun to dry waiting to then roast them outside in an open fire to then crushed in a mortal and pestle before being brewed☕️

I'm a little surprised I'm not hearing some mellow Mahler or Mozart playing in the van. Seems like it might suit you. A couple local flowers or small spray of thistle in a wall attached vase would be a good recurring character. Stuff like in the frame when you talk to us is a big part of the content. The frying pan, coffee grinder, etc. are recurring characters. Soothing familiarity.

Have you tried whipping cream ever in your coffee? I’ve tried it for the first time, I think it makes the coffee yummy. I like it more than half and half making the coffee taste thicker and creamier. I have always foamed half and half for a topper and that’s good too. Have you tried foaming your half and half on top and adding cinnamon? I love that.

Yes, I switch back and forth between half&half and heavy cream. I don’t like foam or any flavorings in my coffee though

I drank coffee for years with no problems, however, now that I'm older most will give me a headache. After trying many different ones, I finally found one at Sprouts Market I seem to tolerate without it giving me a headache. It's one of their own Sprouts blends. It's fine but not the quality of the coffees you drink. I have to tell you, that since watching your videos, I many times think "I wonder where Scott is parked tonight." You look great and healthy! I just went and picked up a bag of Fogline decaf this afternoon. Now that I know where it is. I'm so glad I follow your channel! I never would have found this wonderful coffee! This time of year, it's awesome to be able to enjoy a cup at night. You could perhaps wrap the older model scale you had in cellophane or a ziplock? I don't know what that might do to its calibration.

Awesome. Fogline has a tent at the Arcata Farmers Market, too The buttons are broken on the old scale. There isn’t a fix. I explained in this video about the issue with the buttons.
