I am a Bengali from the Indian state of West Bengal. My mother tongue is Bengali. About 70 to 80 percent of Sanskrit words are spoken in Bengali every day. Because the mother of Bengali language is Sanskrit. We think of the Bengali language as mother, in that case, Sanskrit is our grandmother.

Bro most of the Indian languages are originated or developed from Sanskrit , but today there are only 14000 speakers of our grand language, this is concerning issue

There is absolutely nothing unique about Bengali in that aspect although what you said is not false. This is is true about most of all other Indian languages, including South Indian languages like Telugu as well.

Just see the fun. Our versatile age-old language which is said to be a language of god's is being appreciated outside as they can analyse the versatility in sanskrit language. But here in India there are slaves of western influence who want to live a life not based on their own culture or language but on a borrowed identity are not ready to mend their ways and are against their native culture and languages hindi or sanskrit. Shame on such slaves.

A so-called Proto-Indo-European language originating in Central Asia is just a theory. There has been no tangible proof of it till date. PIE was proposed to make Sanskrit look inferior to Greek and Latin. In the eyes of the colonial historians, a Non-European Non-Christian culture could not have been more advanced and prosperous; It had to have some European connection. Hence the name Indo-European.

@Neville Ramdeholl I am very much there in that country. Please tell me where the evidence can be found. You can also read up my answer in Quora here @ Sharan Kumar : www.quora.com/Is-Sanskrit-derived-from-Latin-or-Greek#:~:text=September%2015%2C%202019-,Is%20Sanskrit%20derived%20from%20Latin%20or%20Greek%3F,not%20just%20Indo-European).

Are there classes in Sanskrit classes at any University in SA at the moment? The University of UDW had them years ago, but they were all scrapped.

Not that we are aware of, it would be nice to have in the future. School of Practical Philosophy run Sanskrit courses time to time: www.philosophyschool.com/

Isn't PIE language imaginary? Is it impossible for European people to accept Sanskrit as the mother language? Please do research the non colonial narrative. I am relearning through Sangam channel and Nilesh Oak. Great research.
