What a set for our first review on the new channel! The Batman Animated Series was one of my favourite TV shows as a kid, and I still love it now 25 years later, so to have a LEGO set based on that show, that's this detailed and this full of nostalgia and hidden fan service easter eggs is amazing. This is a genuine LEGO masterpiece, and I can't wait to get it hung on the wall of my LEGO room!

I mentioned how hopeful i was on stream that you would do mini reviews of each build as a look back at your lego journey. This is great content and helps buyers as well as interested onlookers find out more about the hobby. I know its time consuming but these vids are so key for the channel i think! Well done kev

I have it and finished it a couple weeks ago. It was fun to put together, actually went pretty fast as the steps don't involve a ton of pieces, so they go together quickly. It looks amazing in real life and now has its own display shelf in my living room.

An incredibly authentic review- nice work mate. When it comes to stickers you may wanna try what I do and that is to apply the stickers using a brick separator ( you’ve spotted one or two I believe) perseverance is key and pays off in the end 👍

Yeah, I’m learning the brick separator technique which definitely helped, but still managed to mess up a couple of the more fiddly ones!

I designed with fun people like you in mind 🦇 As a fellow BTAS fan, were you able to name all 30 hidden characters? (31 if you count Selina’s cat) I tried to include enough variety to be slightly challenging even for Batfans. Hidden detail for you: If you lift up the dark green piece with the two “gravestones” on it right below Wayne Manor, check out what’s underneath 😇

I don’t think I could manage all 30, I haven’t watched the series in full for years, although I have started again over the last few days after this got me back in the mood for it, so give me time! But I’ll definitely check out the gravestones! Thanks for a great set!

Absolutely cracking review, love the passion and excitement you have. Really liked the way you didnt detail all the Easter eggs, leaving it to us to experience that ourselves. Agree with @samrussell92 about putting the set numbers on the description, as I’ve searched for reviews on various set numbers. I’ve already primed my wife that this is the next set I’ll be buying after watching the replays of your live streams and seeing how excited you got over the details of the build. I wish the Batman lettering was in black. My wall is white so it would blend in too much. If anyone has a similar issue and makes a part list please let me know! I am barely starting my build but excited to see it come to life!

The model designer here- If you’re interested in watching BTAS in the background, the instructions include an episode for each bag. What you build in that bag comes from that episode so you can see what you’re building on screen! It also means you can easily critique my design work to see if I matched the reference closely 😂

It has technic wall mounts on the back of it, so a couple of screws in the wall and use those. Should have shown them in the video, but I do show them towards the end of the final build stream.

It looks amazing! But then so did the batcave shadowbox. What isn’t amazing on both is the price! For this much I’d expect all prints on those tiles not stickers, especially as this is clearly an adult focused set! 🤔🤷 Definitely would think about getting it if it’s discounted or on a doubles weekend perhaps. Would be an awesome backdrop for my 89 Batmobile that’s converted into a TAS batmobile!
