@@AlanHistoryNerd Sir, how do i answer those 'consequence' type questions because in my head im thinking all i need to do is talk about how it weakened/ strengthened the British economy as two of my factors but you need a third component to get the highest possible marks? Any help?
@AlanHistoryNerd3 жыл бұрын
@@ayuba3282 Hi, it depends on what the consequences are. It could be that you just look at a range of ways something strengthened or weakened an economy. It could be you are asked to assess whether something was the most significant consequence then you would give arguments for and then suggest a range of alternatives. In all essays you ideally want about three points on each side of an argument.

How to write the counter point argument? Do you exactly write another PEEL? I’m a bit confused.
@AlanHistoryNerd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Isaac, yes another PEEL would be a good way to do it, focusing on undermining the point before. Try to use language in each paragraph that show which side is stronger (point or counter point)

Hi Dave, as exams get closer my knowledge of tudors is still relatively shoddy. What is the best way to cover most of the content in this time? Focus on they key questions or? Thanks
@xWiIIyGz2 жыл бұрын
Dave? I meant Alan lol
@AlanHistoryNerd2 жыл бұрын
Focusing on the key questions is the best way to build your revision as it should form the basis of how you are examined. If you can answer the 6 key questions for every monarch with evidence and argument on both sides you'll have a solid base. Build on this by applying concepts of cause, consequence, change, continuity, significance and success and you should be in a strong position
