hi sir, i havenr seen this in the ocr a spec. does this come up in exam questions? and do we need to know the derivations? or just the formula ?
@miniham17947 ай бұрын
no this is for OCR B specification not for OCR A

Why is it raise to the power of minus 1 ? @ 1:07

(1/k)=k^(-1), hope this helps, just easier to put straight into a calculator

Sir, wouldnt the springs in series have the same extension also?
@zhelyo_physics4 ай бұрын
Nope, in series each spring gets extended by a certain amount so the total extension is larger. Hope this helps!

is this in AS level materials???
@zhelyo_physics8 ай бұрын
yep, while these formulas are likely not be derived at AS problems involving them do appear in combinations of springs.

I so much wanted to listened to this but the music drove me so crazy I couldn't get past 45 seconds!!! If you were in the classroom would you really have horrible music like this playing in the background???
@zhelyo_physics2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the feedback. This was still one of my first videos, trying to learn how to youtube. Music is long gone from my videos. I think I will redo this one actually showing some springs in series and parallel on the camera.
