I like to challenge myself and see what I can create from the veg boxes! Made a lovely veg curry other day! Plus veg pasta sauce. Bakery? Maple and pecan plait every time. Love the video! ❤

The pears you got in the £1.50 box look like Packhams, they are apparently the most popular pear in Australia and I have been getting them at my local fruit shop for a snack the last two weeks, I just buy individual ones but they are super tasty when they get soft. But you're right its such a easy way to try new stuff you wouldnt buy. Hope you like them and the crispy chicken looks like a time saver. I really want to try roast chicken, can you believe I've never tried it, esp I fancy a crispy one. thanks for your videos X

Just got to the cornflour bit and it’s given me hives! I dropped the ENTIRE box I’d just opened all over my freshly mopped floors last night! It took me forever to clean up! I could have cried!!! X

Yes I know that feeling. We went to Morrison's yesterday for some veg, cold meats, eggs and lactose free milk. £72 later????? There's only two of us too. But having said that I managed to buy enough for a good evening in the kitchen several meals that now only need defrosting overnight. Oh and cat food and cold meats for my spoiled 18 year old master, As we were leaving after paying I spotted an assistant stocking up there good to full have and specialty bags so as there were about ten out and at least same still to go out I picked up two. Wow when we counted price up the contents would have cost me just under £53. So yes means we don't need to be shopping for next month apart from milk as I always make all our breads, cakes etc. Have you considered buying the silicon food bags. They eliminate frost burn and I can't believe how much more you can get into freezer drawers. I now have so much in these bags in freezer compared to using the tinfoil containers I have had to make a list of contents both batch cooked and uncooked husband was stunned when he looked at it to see what he fancied.

Hannah, my son is 25, on the spectrum. He's found that seeds and linolaic acid really affects him badly. Also nuts. Are we being weird, here? We know its good for you...but not for him, apparently. 🤷‍♀️
