A LIFETIME with my TRANGIA ! ( Best Motorcycle camping cooker)

I’ve owed Trangia cookers my whole life , from the age of 8 . I’ve melted one , lost one , stole one and given one away . But through it all adapted mine to suit my needs and have never seen anyone who has a set up similar… I’ve done a silent video on this , but here I talk it through and show you what’s what . The best motorcycle cooker just got even better , the most compact complete kitchen to have in your pannier . Obviously this is the best cooker for folks who like food , If you are a boil in the bag dude , well I’d say just get anything to do that . This would be over kill.

Great stoves I’ve been using mine for 43years. The only thing I disagree with is meths I only use meths. I do have to be gas burner bit only used it 2/3 times. I love the silence of meths I use a trangia nearly every day in some form or other.

Ah I never thought about the silence, that’s a good point . But then again , I’m A noisy bastard . Great to hear you been using them all that time . Freaks me out I’ve watched so many videos on Trangia and most peoples cookers look like that never been used .. they literally mint . My first one I used so much , the base literally melted , so would no longer hold that meths burner . I knew then it was time for a new one .

@@LeanIntoTheWind I agree my 1st one was dented crushed and bashed the pots had had it so I decided to buy 2 new ones both 27s a standard and a HA one. The one I use the most is the one I made up myself from trangia parts. A triangle a HA pot a kettle and a mini fry pan because I’m solo it’s perfect for me. Trangia are addictive and j want the red 25 and the multi fuel burner 😀. Anyways enjoy and safe journeys on your bike. I used to ride to miss it a lot 👍

What jet boil do you use mate and how long has it lasted so far

It’s just the traditional black jet boil . I’ve had it 4/5 years so far . No problem at all . Are they supposed to break ? My brothers both had same one I got and they bought theirs few years before me , and both still good too .
