So BTS are global/brand ambassadors of many brands and because of their global influence any brand or products they use or name gets sold out by army, so they try to be very careful to not promote any brands until they are ambassadors of said brand. However in the live stream Taehyung was just randomly name dropping brands that he uses with the members so Jimin was like "Can you say the brand name though?" And even after that he was unable to stop. So to fix the situation the 3 of them kept randomly naming the brands that they are are ambassadors of like Fila, Louis Vuitton, Samsung, Xylitol, Hyundai etc.

I was under the impression that they aren’t allowed to say names of brands they arent affiliated with during broadcasts, so they name-dropped all the ones they have deals with to cover up the mistake lol

@@hobihoya BTS actually have time and again name dropped brands in their livestreams & bighit can actually do nothing to stop them from doing so. However bighit does try to censor the name of the brand they mentioned in the subtitles or blurred out the products in the pre-recorded videos. But they really can't do more than that. And most of the members really don't take that very seriously especially Jin, Jungkook and V.

@@hobihoya when they worked with lv (they don't anymore btw) they still had freedom to wear whatever they wanted, i imagine they have a similar deal with other brands they work with something like on OFFICIAL official things they can't mention other brands but in casual settings they're fine

In korea idols aren't supposed to broadcast brand names because it can be seen as promotion (as a baby army i was told it was SKR broadcasting law but idk how true that is lol), accidentally once or twice is fine but that's why they cover the brand names and try to avoid saying them even before they got so popular :).
