Just want to say, your dedication to all these amazing videos, with so much detail, good editing, and more, despite the low audience is very amazing. For someone who grew up with ALTTP, this series has been nostalgic, informative, and entertaining. I'm hoping you gain a larger following as more people discover your great videos. Keep up the amazing work!

I like that the Thieves Hideout building in Kakariko, which you can visit very early in the game, has the same Dark World dungeon decor as Thieves Town (also seen in dungeons like the Dark Palace in a different colour palette). It hints at the Dark World story thread connected to that otherwise forgettable building, and more importantly it suggests that there is an inter-dimensional interior decorator selling those cool floor tiles

I remember playing this as a kid and being blown away at the Dark World. I thought I was gonna beat the game when I beat Agahnim, and instead it opened an entirely new world!?!? My jaw was on the floor.

Same, I was young enough to think the game was nearly over at that point too, because it had taken me that long. I remember having to ask my mom what certain words meant like 'deceived'. I also have a clear memory of asking a friend (who said he'd already beat the game) how to get over the raised pegs, and he said you have to hit all the buttons at once to jump over them. 😂 I'm glad I wasn't old enough to pick up on the indications (so many missing items in the menu, the brief glimpse at the dark world map as a bunny) that I wasn't even halfway through.

What an incredible game. Epic. Legendary.

I remember the preview/guide to Four Swords when it was published in Nintendo Power. I was pretty young at the time, and had yet to play my first Zelda game but I remember being fascinated by the screenshots and artwork that was shown in the magazine. I'm really looking forward to finally getting a glimpse of what kid-me was missing out on. I love this podcast.

Paul, your podcast has become a breakfast tradition every Wednesday morning in our household. And the reason why I'm commenting on Friday is because it took two extra breakfastses to finish your video. Very happy about that. Me and my table of one are championing you to see all the Zelda games through with stride. Regards and much love!

Turtle Rock always felt like a fan-made dungeon to me. In addition to the bizarre difficulty spike, the dungeon requires you to use spin attacks in a strange way that isn't very intuitive. Obviously, Link in-universe wouldn't have to charge a spin attack just to walk backwards or hold his shield to his side. Not to say that this is hard to figure out, but it genuinely doesn't seem like something that would only be utilized in a rom hack, right?

I love your videos and am amazed at the quality, and I am a big Zelda fan (esp SNES era). One criticism, that I do not hope to offend with, is that your audio quality sounds a bit harsh, as if recorded through an old fashioned telephone. Maybe an audio bitrate issue?

Around the time of Zelda II revisit, KZbin suggested your channel to me. Being a completionist I am, I decided to see all your videos from the beginning. Now I have finally caught up, and subscribed to the channel. Awesome work!

@44:35 In fact, the best way to go is to use the Bombos Medallion, as it can melt the ice case in just one sitting. That allows you to have almost all of your magic for the battle, where you should hit Coldstare with the Fire Rod.

In Misery Mire you mentioned how to maneuver to dash off the block. You can also hold the sword attack button and can backpedal.

You call them pink barriers, but I see yellow. Am I the only one?
@legendaryadventurespodАй бұрын
@@gregoriocruz4530 I can't say if you're the only one, but to me, the switch itself switches between blue and a shade of pink. The barriers when it's blue are plainly blue, the barriers when it's pink to me seem like a salmon color, somewhere between pink and orange. That's how I perceive it.
