I did, I made sure to turn that off and put USB as the first boot device. I think it might be that they're only BIOS bootable since they're older and haven't been updated and the Surface Laptop only does UEFI booting.

The browser in RedStar OS seems to be trying to go to an ip address as its search engine. You don't live in Korea, so you cannot access that IP address.

@@ID10T_ERROR_ Ubuntu is slytherin, it just uses extensions for the features, and has an old base with snaps. What's to like. Repos are nice but you can add them to debian as well

@@ID10T_ERROR_ Just stick with debian if you want something extremely reliable (like lmde), and arch if you want the most performance and or latest packages. In my experience (arch kde) I have had no issues with my install bricking or anything like that
