It's better than the 4000d for one reason. It comes with a glass AND mesh front panel and you choose which one you want on or can switch it up

I’ve just done a build in this case and while i like it as a whole, when I put my PSU in, it was basically touching the pass through holes so making them unusable

Looks a lot like a certain Corsair Airflow case. It looks like it has everything you need, just not quite as premium, which is great if you are on a budget and still want nearly that performance for less than half the cost.

@@hektor9139 drop the radiator in, the tubes will be on the top, as long as the tubes are in line or below the CPU you are fine. Sadly I can't go back and test it, this video is over a year old

My biggest issue with their cases is the punchout pcie slots, but they are still a great value. Would be nice to see 4pin fans as well, but on a budget case, that is probably asking a bit much.

Yup I mention the 4pin on the discussion but what's the issue with the slots, the slot covers with holes on them, I have never had issues with it then sometimes depending on the pressure and fan placement it can actually help, in this case I dont see it hurting it helping but we will soon see

They're literally replaceable not punch out you can literally see the screws.

Also some of their cases come with 3 replacement ones. So unless you just randomly like punching out those slots then it's a complete moot point.

That is a nice case. Too bad it doesn't have a DVD burner player slot to put one in. I'm sure there are plenty of new ones that have that though.

yeah, you can get external ones of course, but not many cases have them anymore, since physicals media is kind of dying off, sadly. Most would say it died years ago, I still like it though.

​@@mikmaks7393 I still use DVD's. I should add, I often tinker with computers from ~1995 to 2012. Not much newer than that. So most of them are DVD copies of Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP. But there are a few Linux ones too. And no, I can't just use a USB, as some of my computers don't even boot from USB. Like my AMD Athlon 3100+. Which also is the oldest computer I have that can run, and is running Windows 10. When is the last time you used a DVD?

It's a rather good case honestly for the price but I hate how the cut outs for the wires are missing the rubber grommets. Only two of them are there. I'm sure they could have included more rubber grommets for the two upper wire holes and lower ones. They are extremely cheap.

But still, every single penny they spend, they have to double and charge us, and for how inexpensive this case is, I am happy with it so far. I will be doing a build and cabling video with it soon, stay tuned my friend.

Corsair 5000d airflow doesn’t have the grommets at the top. Neither does the lancool 2 mesh, 205. It’s not something that’s a given and these guys just skimped out.

custom is always better, but much more time consuming, expensive and scary. I recommend AIO's especially if you are not hardcore overclocking.

At 70 it was a good deal at 90 they are priced right along side a 4000d which has better build quality.

@@ThisBytesForYou my girls build is in a 4000 and a friend of mine ordered(but returned) the lite in white. The fans and top filter on the lite werent even close to matching color of chassis (filter was a cooler white and fans a warmer white) and the front panel rattled alot. Since we didnt build on the lite i cant say if he got one with the wrong mesh panel that was awful for air flow or not. Also not a fan of the non locking glass panel or their little handle sticking out. If they start making the lite again (none in stock last I checked) and they have it for 70 its a fine case in black but would skip the white version.

​@@Deviantsoundz I love the light, I think I have the 4000 as well, if not the 5000, or both haha I need to check, but I love the build quality of the lite. The Corsair cases have HEAVIER panels, so yeah, they would be better, but the build quality may be down to QC. When I removed the grill and put it back on I heard it, but only because I didn't pop the peg back in, its easy to miss. The light is out, but the premium is there, that I guess is the $90, I have not personally tried the premium... but it should be Premium haha, but I really can't say on that one: geni.us/ZZJ9 Thanks so much for checking out the video and the chat, I love it my friend ;)
