This is a great channel to learn about modular. I think using Doepfer modules to do this is part of why it is an effective demo. They are simple and to the point. No weird menus or any BS.

I feel like a young student in a wizard's office with enough understanding to get everything going on but having several moments of 'wait so you can just do that?'

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a mini brute 2s. I'm on the road 11 months out of the year, and I just want something portable to start playing with in the world of analog. I think this video will make a great reference for helping me get started on it, thanks!

This reminds me of a time when I was a wee lad and got my hands on one of those greeting cards that had a little melody playing upon opening. Dad found me dismantling the poor thing and examining its inner parts. Apparently I "wanted to see what music looks like"

Apparently my mother had to buy me secondhand junk that was already broken, so I could take that apart instead. Smart move on her part!

the fact that you made this channel and upload this content in such an instructive way is a miracle for anyone interested in synthesis

Hi big fan of your work here! I am wondering if you ever plan doing a video on your arranging on modular synths of classical music you do on Contrapoints video? Or do you have any ressources/tips you could share on how to get into such arranging? I'm a classically trained musician who started messing aroung with analog synths and DAWs and am hoping to emulate your arranging work as a "starting point" (in quotes as there are so much learning to do before I can start to do what could be deemed as an emulation of your work). Thanks!
