Thanks for this Julie, they certainly seemed to go overboard with the decorations. I am down south and can remember a place just like this and always thought it quite hideous, they were very fond of sludge green.

Some colour schemes are indeed strange, green is my least favourite colour so I might have avoided anywhere with that colour scheme ha ha

My first 'Drinking hole'. I was a regular for a couple of years without incident, until, I turned up at the 'OffDoor' one night to buy a bottle of Vodka to replenish supplies at a house party. One of the people with me announced it was my 18th Birthday and that caused a few raised eyebrows and voices from the staff.....😁

Ha ha yes, I know of someone who had been drinking in a pub for a while then held their own 18th in the same pub. It wasn't me though ha ha

I lived in the steet behind it .only went in a few times though.. it was always a busy pub
