A little-explored Sardinia: Quartz beaches and prehistoric civilizations

On our second day exploring Sardinia, we left the city of Alghero behind and headed south through this incredible island. We visited Is Arutas Beach and its twin sister, Maimoni Beach, famous for their unique quartz sands. After enjoying Sardinia's paradisiacal sea, we headed to the nuragic complex of Barumini, where we visited a Nurague, built by a prehistoric civilization. To end the day, we stayed in the Sardinian countryside to enjoy Agriturismo, a popular form of tourism on the island. Don't miss a moment of this series!
