Feel like I have to say this! Ladies - Please go to your gyno for yearly check ups! My twin sister was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer at the age of 23! She finished her chemo a couple of weeks ago. God is so good but please just go 💕

What age should you start going?

@@lluisajheneferlennon4523 usually 21 and up. But if you're sexually active before that or have ANY questions you can go to one. It's never too early. Once you get your period it should be okay to go. If you go, it doesn't mean you have to get your vagina examined. My 14 year old cousin got birth control at that age to reduce her extreme period flow and cramps. I believe she was also diagnosed with pcos too.

At 24 years old, I’ve personally been examined manyy more times than just the Pap Smears I’ve had because I do so after any new partner. I’ve never really found it to be uncomfortable nor painful for me. I definitely can understand it and the anxieties but I’ve always just been more comfortable with being seen by a professional for barely a couple minutes than not know my health. y’know. That being said, may we all be in good health and look out for each other! ☺️

I work at an OBGYN and was still terrified of the exam and PAP! Agree, uncomfortable but not painful, and totally worth it in the long run! Go get your Annual’s scheduled !!

Happened to me once after starting a new job. I was in another province for job training so I knew not a single soul there, but a man approached me in the cafeteria and he said, “hey, good job with the presentation”. I just smiled and said, “thank you”. He obviously had me confused for someone else, but I just went with it, lol. Also.. on a serious note. Gynaecology appointments are so important. Don’t skip your Pap tests and if something ever feels wrong inside your body, advocate for yourself! Things started changing for me 2.5 years ago and I only now have a specialist appointment this Thursday. Know your body, know your cycle, and be proactive! ❤️

I was never really a woman who went to the gynecologist yearly. I bit the bullet and went last year. I found out that I have to have surgery. This opened my eyes on how important it is to be screened for cervical cancer. My mother passed from cervical cancer when I was very young. However, treatments have drastically advanced since then. It is a constant worry.

The 1994 version of Little Women is WONDERFUL!! I liked the new one, but the original is so good! I watch it every Christmas at least once. It's shot in chronological order so there's no back and forth which in my opinion lets you get to know the characters better and connect with them more. I feel like with the new one, it was made for people who know the story already. Please please please please PLEASE watch this soon!

dont settle for an ob/gyn! especially when you decide to have a baby. I think it’s so important to find someone that makes you feel super comfortable! I’m a l&d/postpartum nurse so I know our docs and midwives a little more personally but I switched my provider like 3 times until I finally settled with my midwife who just understands me and my pregnancy/labor hopes better!

I lost my virgnity at the age of 25 and i am so glad i took time with picking out my partner, so when you find that special person be certain that you really want it with him / her. Sex shouldn't feel pressuring not even one bit.Also it is freaking 2020 time for people to stop acting like having sex really young is "trendy". And age is irrelevant is it 30 or 20,all that matters is that you have loyal partner that will treat you right.

I’m 27 and virgin. However I’m super irregular so I went a couple years ago to check everything was ok. I chose a male Doctor and he was very kind and helpful, I honestly think we should be comfortable taking care of ourselves.

I started the new year with a broken toe 😅 On New Years Eve my sister wanted me to do a dance for Tik Tok with her and so I gave in! Resulted in me accidentally kicking her leg so hard that I broke my toe in two places and dislocated it, but it’s all good’ 😂 My husband and I are also expecting our very first baby in June so this year is automatically so exciting! 💕

Yes ladies, please get your pap. I went and got mine for the first time. I put it off for a very long time..the speculum was too painful so my doctor always used swabs. I finally got an actual pap. Crazy painful. I got back my results. Tested positive for hpv. And adnormal pap. I go in for a colposcopy soon. Scary. I have only been with one guy and was a virgin when i met him..he passed hpv to me. Now i pray this did not turn into cancer...i do have to say I've always had women doctor's. This time i have a male gynecologist. He is awesome and gentle. I prefer him.over the female doctors

Oh my gosh! I remember being BEYOND nervous for my first gyno appointment when I was 21. Now I'm 27 and about to enter my third trimester of my first pregnancy. I'm pretty sure I have no shame left. I’ve been going to the OB/GYN for about nine years now and have two kiddos, I honest to goodness had way better experiences with male doctors than I did with female ones! I’ve only had one female OB that I absolutely loved and all the rest were rough and just not pleasant bedside manners🙈 It’s just one of those things that once you go routinely and especially after birthing you just kind of go like ehh, get it over and done with I’m busy😂🙈

i’ve had a horrible new year so far! first week my horse got incredibly sick and needed surgery! there was a chance she wouldn’t survive the surgery and also $10000 it cost. then all the fires where i live were really bad and also then i got sick. so a very bad year for me so far

Just a note that if you do want to cancel your subscription to rocksbox you have to physically call them and return all your pieces before the next billing cycle. The jewelry I got was okay, but where they advertised the jewelry as being luxurious and expensive didn't seem true to me. It was similar to the jewelry I'd get at H&M or forever21. No hate though the jewelry was cute but I'm on such a tight budget that if something doesn't pull through 100% it's not worth it to me:/
