This is really pretty and I just adore the Luscious powder mixed with water added to the background Chrissie. The Marianne stencil you used together with the bits of stamping using the Dox Tea Dye ink complements the gold really well, and the French wax mixed with the two different colours and also the added rusty colour Luscious gives a very authentic look to the kraft card watering can. I see that you decided to add some of the Tea Dye Ink to the tulip flower petals which gives them more depth, and the gold sentiment finishes it beautifully. I think your DIL will really love this card especially with her love of gardening. x

I love the galvanised rusty look you’ve achieved with the luscious powders. My Son and Daughter in Law grow their own veg on an allotment and I have just finished today making a ‘garden shed’ box for them to store seed packets in. I think keeping the tulips white was a great idea, it brings the fantastic texture of the watering can to the fore. Thank you for showing the different ways these fab powders can be used. 🦋xxx

I made your embossing paste recipe yesterday and I love it. Just wish I had unscented baby powder as the scent is strong to this old nose of mine, but never mind, it will be fine. I will have to try the hand cream and glue next recipe next. I love how this card came out!!! The watering can is just gorgeous, the mixed media is perfect to my eyes...the smooshed gold looks like sunshine warming things up. Gives a glow! Love the tea dye color as well, it helps to tone down the gold, but yet still lets it shine. Just a gorgeous, gorgeous card! Hugs, Brenda

Ive always made my own mica sprays, they never stick, ive had mine over 10 years just standing, I use an old lens cleaner bottle
