For the love of god man, ONLY paint stuff you find fun! Don’t burn yourself out. I think what we as creators forget, is that it’s not just the painting. It’s also the editing afterwards and that adds time and to be honest its not much fun. I try to put out 1 video a week and sometimes don’t achieve that. You must take time for your own enjoyment and hobby stuff, build that into you schedule. I love seeing everything you paint. Great paint job on the figure.

What a great tutorial! I can understand burnout on a hobby. Several years ago I was absolutely insistent on researching anything before building or painting. and sometimes it just lost the fun of modeling. So I went from historical modeling to Sci-fi and I really enjoy it. I am currently painting up some 10mm tanks in whatever color I want and I am have a lot of fun doing this. I have also been inspired by ANYTHING you paint and this helps me to go back to the bench and try something new. Thanks for sharing this and take your time making a tutorial. Thanks for sharing this.

Your job on this also is brilliant! I think this dude is part of their welcome pack if I remember right. Also always do what you enjoy. I do this as well sometimes half way though painting something I just don't "feel" it. It's better to do something else, try something different or step away for a bit. This is why I also mix my models up plus do some busts every couple of months. Plus busts really help big time with mixing it up and trying technical stuff out since you have a bigger work area on a model it is easier to even doing wet blending 🙂

I'm sure that you've had ideas for large projects over the years that you'd like to "eventually" do (I can scarcely keep track of all of mine), but never found the time or energy or resources to do them, or you felt it would keep you for making these videos as regularly as you'd like. An army, or a colossal monster, a warship, something of that nature. You could do that. Move the camera off to the side so we can still tune in, talk as much as you feel you need to about whatever comes to mind, minimize the editing as best you can, maybe livestream it if you think that would work better. Try it for a week or 2, or a month even, then go back to your regular format. If it doesn't work for you, quit. If it does work out, your collection may have a new centerpiece. Just a thought.
