No worries, play the game as you want to play it. If people have problem with that, there are more content creators around :) It's important that you enjoy the game rather than keyboard warriors gets their way. I enjoy your ML content because of the city building. I mean, if the opponent doesn't attack you when attempting to steal 'their' loot, thats on them (as it would have been in real life). *Yoink* as much as you want imo!

Just my opinion but maybe you should stop paying so much attention to viewer's opinions and comments. Read them if you have time and reply to the ones you want to but with the recent increase in your subscribers trying to please everyone is a fool's errand that will end up changing the very thing people watch your content for. 👍

Bee's hibernate in the winter, you always have to leave them the last batch of honey they produce before winter so they can survive, they regulate the temperature of their hives themselves. Also some Bee keepers transport their Bee's south to warmer climates and produce year round.

50:41 no, bees hibernate of sorts. I took a bee keeping course. You have to leave a certain number of frames of honey for them to survive the winter.

During winter honey bees stay in a cluster in their hive to keep themselves and the queen warm... They don't produce honey in winter, yet they consume it to keep warm (mind you, they can eat up to several dozen kilograms of honey in winter)

LOL Bees Wax was a major source of wealth in the middle ages, candles made with it burned much better and less smelly than tallow candles. It was one of the major forms of tithing.

Charlie, not sure if you knew this or not but you can gain influence & wealth for the specific region by selling extra items you produce (Examples: bows, armor, extra food) thru the trading post and by setting up dedicated trade routes, so that could be your way of getting enough influence to claim providence's since your playing the economic/builder way. Plus selling your extra stuff there gives you the ability to be able to import any items that your currently lacking, or cant produce since you will be gaining regional wealth to spend.

Hey Charlie, the dead sea called, it would like its salt back lol. Play how you like. I will be asking my husband to do the total war part for me. I look forward to the city building, not the fighting. With the weird fields, is it the fertility layer? With the money going to the "closest" region... Does it go to the region the militia comes from?

So much salt. :) No joke, am going to limit that more in the future. Was just one of those days. ;) I don’t think it’s a fertility layer thing, because of how it hits the fields. Layers are usually in circles/definite zones, but these fields seem to be bad/good/bad in terms of how they look when growing. Also, Goldhof keeps getting the money, but has no Manor or army. So IDK. It’s as if that new town doesn’t exist.

How about setting the warehouse not to accept clay if you don't want it there and hire someone there to move the log to the warehouse from the places you don't want them to be?

Depending on how aggressive the farming realism is, not doing fallow could really come back to bite you. I don't know how the dev has handled it but if he's gone even semi realistic you will kill your farms if you don't rest your fields every 3 years or so. Keep an eye on your yields. If they take a nosedive you will have to go fallow or it might just flatline completely.

about 53:00 on bees. If I learnt anything whilst watching the kids film "Bees" with my grand-daughters is that bees cannot make honey in cold months and need to store up the honey they were making. It is why it was so villianous for one bee "sell" their "honey secret" to humans. But again, not sure if that is a fictional thing or reality. You never know with kids shows nowadays.

if apiary increases yield, shouldnt they go by farm plots? or do they work with berries/veg/apples etc? not worth spending a point on region without farming? just curious.
