I thought this was gonna be a much more goofy and meme-y song, but it's actually really meaningful in a lot of ways. Not only is it a beautiful tribute to MatPat and all his work, but it describes why people love the Theory channels so much. They're fun and a little silly at times, but one of their main missions is to encourage curiosity. MatPat started the channel to explore the science of video games because it's a topic he's passionate about. And it's influenced a lot of people to be curious and theorize. This song, while full of memes and references, is about the true heart of Game Theory and why we love MatPat so much. He's curious, kind, and passionate about his interests. Just what the channels encourage us to be. (It's also just a really catchy song in general)

As someone who has watched Game Theory for almost longer than I can remember, who has seen the channel go from one dude in his closet addicted to Diet Coke to a multi-channel network with so many people working together and a truly massive community, this was amazing. All the little references in the video, both in the text and purely the visuals, some so incredibly niche I would never have remembered them on my own but which this unlocked again, just mind blowing. After 6 months of listening to this song, I've realized what makes it so nostalgic to me. There's the obvious fact that MatPat and Team Theorist was a big part of my life, but the other part is that this song has huge KZbin Rewind vibes. Not the last horrible rewinds, but the previous ones (2014-2016?) that everybody loved. A quick musical summary of all the parts of the Theory channels that we know and love, set to an upbeat melody that makes you wish you could rewind and watch Team Theory grow alongside you again. I love the song so much but watching the music video and realizing that Matt has truly left his channels (in the public eye, at least), even GTLive...I'm proud of him but it's saddening. That part of my life of seeing that he uploaded a new video is gone. The new hosts are fantastic, but nothing can replace the nostalgia of clicking on a video and hearing him say "hello Internet!". You did a fantastic job with this song, and it's a perfect send off. It's entire emphasis on community kinda makes me smile, because, yeah, we're all theorists. Sadly I didn’t find this masterpiece until after watching matpat’s farewell video. It was actually my youngest son who was jamming to it (our whole house loves game theory lol) Me and my husband pulled it up and watched it from the beginning and when I tell you I SOBBED! This song is fantastic! It has so much crammed into it that I keep finding new things every time I see it. It’s a wonderful snippet of game theory and shows exactly what we have all come to love about matpat and this channel. I can’t think of a better way to say goodbye than for us to have this piece of this channel with him that we can all come back to whenever we might feel the need. I’ve since showed my older boys both of who were very upset with me for showing them because it got them right in the feels as well, but that’s what art is supposed to do. Make us feel and this is 100% a work of art! That being said I’ve watched this at least 6 times now and it hits hard Every. Damn. It's not always that Stupendium makes a wholesome bop, but when they do, and _especially_ when it's such wholesome support of another channel that I could not have seen coming a mile away, it always goes hard. The entire song is so feel good, each reference just serving to celebrate Game Theory's history! You know he worked on a video if characters are made of simple geometric shapes and have teardrop shaped limbs. He committed suicide a couple years back.
