Blair! Randomly after this video, KZbin suggested your weekly vlog #16 and I watched it and am cracking up because you were packaging orders and talking about how overwhelming it was and you had like 30 orders! I know this is odd from a random stranger (but loyal follower 😂) but I’m proud of you for how far you’ve come with your business! Weekly vlog 16 Blair would probably pass out if she knew how many orders Vlogmas 16 Blair packages a day now! Haha!

I had surgery on Friday and because of COVID I wasn’t able to have anyone with me so your videos helped get me through and kept me occupied! You’re so relaxing and comforting and your little family supported me while I was alone! Thank you for everything you put into your videos and your channel! I hope you’re all having a great holiday season so far!

THANK YOU for being so honest about your struggle with postpartum depression. I think it's so important to share those things. We adopted, so instead of postpartum depression I dealt with "post-adoption blues" which really came as a shock to me because I was so excited to become a mom. I didn't even realize how bad it was until I was out of it, so with our current adoption I am in counseling which has been helping me a lot :) Anxiety and depression can be so stigmatized, so I am thankful you are speaking about your experience!

Blair!! THANK YOU for talking about postpartum depression and anxiety! I’m a second time mom and experienced it after my sons birth in September and I kept telling myself this is the second time around I shouldn’t be this sad and anxious. My dr diagnosed me with PPD and I started lexapro and you are right getting on the proper mediation is life changing! It’s funny because I was just reading Untamed by Glennon Doyle and she talks about how taking a medication to help you feel better doesn’t make you weak or a bad person. She said it makes you strong to admit that you WANT to feel better and she said she sings “Jesus loves me this I know for he gave me lexapro” and it made me laugh so hard and it’s so true ❤️ Moral of the story thank you for talking openly about this and encouraging moms to get help and not be ashamed. You’re an amazing mama and person!

I loved listening to you talk about the Christmas Eve service at church, thats always my favorite as well and it always moves me to tears. This year I bought candles so that we can do our own candlelight "service" with our church on Facebook. Also, in regards to your own traditions with Nora, they tend to just happen in the funniest ways. I always like to bake homemade but when my children were small I started buying slice and bake sugar cookies and canned frosting along with lots of sprinkles and decorations to keep my kids busy on Christmas Eve while we waited to go to Grandma's house. They could then leave 1 cookie each for Santa. My "kids" are now 23, 19 & 15 and still insist on it because that's their favorite, lol!! ❤❤❤

Our church does the same at our Christmas Eve service! We all pass the flame and light our candles while singing silent night. It’s always very pretty!

I struggled with post partum depression after I had my son. I felt terrible because motherhood is portrayed as such a romanticized time and I didn't feel it. I'm so glad you're talking about this and shining a spotlight on depression because I think we need to talk about it more and make it more normalized to get help with it.

Agreed! I struggled with depression not after giving birth, but after our adoption of all things. It can be very isolating, so I'm glad to see people sharing their experiences.

Thank you for sharing your honesty about PPD. I’m 19 months PP and still wish I would’ve gone on medication. I’m not nursing but I think the weight of being a perfectionist in motherhood is a weight that a lot of us could use help with bearing.

I love this Vlog for so many reasons. First off, thank you for sharing your experience with Postpartum depression. I have struggled with it also, and I love that we are not shaming Mother’s but talking about it instead. I love all of the ideas you gave me talking about your childhood memories. We are spending Christmas home in Cincinnati this year. First time in our life not being in our hometown for Christmas. Too tough with 3 kids. So we are trying to create our own traditions so hopefully they grow up and can tell about it as beautifully as you just did. Christmas Eve is and always has been my very favorite day of Christmas also.

Loved this fireside chat Blair! You mentioned finding a church to attend for Christmas Eve and I’ve been wondering what y’all have been doing for church lately. I’d love to hear an update, but I know it might be tricky to explain your situation as you don’t want to offend anyone. I’ve really enjoyed watching all of the vlogmas videos! Thanks for sharing this special season with us! ❤️

My parents did separate wrapping paper in our house too! My husband's parents didn't so now my stocking gifts (from him) aren't wrapped and his are, because I think it's more fun :) It's also a good way to get rid of the random sizes of cut wrapping paper.

Blair I have been loving your vlogmas! I had to pause halfway through to comment. My daughter’s birthday is early in December and we made graham cracker gingerbread houses this year for her and her friends to do her birthday weekend! This was the first year we did it, we had set aside most of the trick or treat candy our daughters had collected. It was a hit and i have enjoyed having them as part of our dining table Christmas decor. Have a Merry Christmas!

I feel the same way about Christmas Eve! My favorite night of the year! We always exchanged gifts on Christmas Eve and ate snack type food growing up. I love the sound of your fire crackling! We moved in to a new home with a gas fireplace that had a switch to turn it on. And I LOVE being able to turn on a fire so easily, but I do miss the crackling for sure! You mentioned finding a church for Christmas Eve service. Are you and Riley not going to church or your church just doesn't do Christmas Eve service?

Thank you for being so open regarding the post partum depression & anxiety. As a fellow first time mama to a 1 year old it was really helpful to hear you touch on this subject. Could you possibly touch on your thoughts about body image/changes after having a baby. I feel like there is so much pressure to 'snap back' into shape but I feel like my body shape is so much different since being pregnant and really struggle finding my new 'style'. Lots of love. ❤️ Xxx

Girl.. I am so sorry for all the comments but I keep commenting as I’m watching 😂 I ALWAYS wanted a dog growing up. My husband and I have 3 Australian Shepherds now because I literally am such a dog person. But when I was younger, we finally got my first dog.. and his name was Scooter!! Just another funny similarity! Why are we the same person?! 😂
