Best hair me out video I have ever seen! I cant believe that locs were called a dreadful style that is infuriating. Locs are beautiful.

I take the same stance on not calling my locs dreads....there's absolutely NOTHING dreadful about my natural hair!!! Ive been locing for 20+ years, and dont have a moment's regret.

@aeryan6108 thanks for your view, and I respect it as yours. However, "dread", to me, is just plain dread. I choose not to associate ANYTHING in my life, including my beautiful, God-given locs (hair), to the word, dread, or its meaning. But, that's the good thing about being individual, we can be, and still be ok, IMO.😊 be blessed.😊

The term dreadlocks comes from Rastafarians - dread referring to fear of God…

It's nice to see them talk on locs whether you call them dreadlocks or just locs. Comes to mind the song mighty Quinn with Denzel Washington. They've come a long way and they deserve to be nourished to be appreciated there's different colors styles you can do is wonderful but you do have to keep them up

Public Service Anouncement - Traction alopecia is hair loss caused by repeated strain on the hair follicles, such as from wearing tight hairstyles over long periods of time. Tight braids, dreadlocks, hair relaxers and extensions can all cause traction alopecia.

So this is exactly how my locs thinned out. Before I had thick, juicy locs. Then I went to a salon a few times and my locs got thinner and thinner. I also hated seeing my scalp. Honestly I don't like the salonification of locs. People want long hair and get locs but don't represent the lifestyle that locs used to convey

I love when people call them locs and not “dreads” OMG the latter is so disgusting.
