Thank you for this Runebound series of yours! 1. How would you rate the expansions? (or at least top 3) 2. Do you think this game aged well..? Or there are better adventure games already?

I never thought too much about the expansions. Island and Sands seem to be the best big boxes to me. The challenge decks are pretty cool. I do not like the small adventure boxes (i.e Seven Scions) Overall I´m not that excited about the game as I once was, but I also never played a better adventure game of a similiar type. I could imagine that Hexplore It could be really good, but I never had enough money left.

I´m not allowed to take the rewards, if I hire a captain on loan...but this is not the case here, because of the special ability of the captain, wich allows you to hire him for a map tile...otherwise there would be no advantage at all in giving away the map tile...you could hire him on loan anyway. These solo rules say: If the threat roll is equal or higher, increase the threat level by one, if it is below, add one doom token. These are not the official Runebound solo rules, wich work like.....

some cinsideration. Are you allowed to take the rewards as you do, due the fact that you hire a captain for free? from your words i understand no. another consideration is about the teack. i suppose that when the lower track is full you must automaticatly advance the top one, like a clock with minute and hours
