Unbalance can work as long as it’s not BROKEN. There’s a distinct difference here in terms of unbalance and broken gameplay and currently right now, sparking zero is still a fair bit broken due to the counter system being still super abusable, insta spark having basically 0 drawback besides blue gauge cost and certain characters just being stronger in not just in general power level. Not I didn’t mention the BROKEN BROKEN characters that can easily be abused, this applies to Yajirobe, the midget clown… (those who know who I mean thumbs up to you guys), and the androids (specifically 19 and 20). These guys are all broken broken and need some serious fixing. This whole game, needs some serious fixing and for it to have proper longevity it needs to not be plagued by the xeno 2 tards out there who think they’re good for using a broken ass gimmick like 19 to win. Learn the game instead of be ass by using some gimmick.

Yes and No because BT3 was way more balanced than people think in comparison to Zero even though the BT games has a history of unbalance because that’s the point. It’s DragonBall. The Game is fun offline and is Great imo but Ranked was the killer of the game for most people. It’s not a Sparking Zero it’s an online gaming issue. People will do anything to get a win and exploit. If not this game it will be the next. It’s unfortunate because of this game would have came out maybe 10 years ago or more it wouldn’t be like this with most people imo. A lot of people who bought this game aren’t REAL DB fans anyway and that’s a big thing. People bought this off hype and that’s another problem of the community.

Sparking Zero's problem isn't because of the state it was in, it's because of the year it released. Everyone's gotta play like there's money on the line, and if they lose, they close the game and act like nothing happened The fact that the player base tell other people it's a skill issue or the developers' fault for the way they play just make most not want to give a chance because they don't want to deal with the BS

All i’m gonna say is that i’m going to wait at least 1-2 months before buying the Bleach game and see what kind of nonsense the community cooks up for it, because it could be the best game ever, but if the community is just as bad as SZ’s, then i’m skipping it. Xenoverse 2 had the exact same issue as sparking too. The people who take a game seriously too is the DBD community. I'm pretty new to your channel, and I don't even play SZ but I've been following the situation from the outside looking in and everything you're saying I what I've been saying for months. I've seen your other two videos, and not only do I think you're right, I would go as far as to say that this is wrong with modern multi-player gaming. More often than not, it's always the communities fault when there is an issue with the game balance because NO ONE hesitates to abuse anything for the sake of winning anymore. There is no sportsmanship because everyone treats every match like it's a fight to the death. I happen to play another anime "fighting" game (if you can even call Shinobi Strikers that 😅) and I like making unique builds and finding tech since the game is updated semi-regularly. Whenever I or one of my friends finds something that could easily be abused, we don't use it online in the hope that the rest of the community will find out about it. And then some goofball cracks the code, and now everybody is abusing the new broken thing. Then it becomes use or lose until the devs decide to patch it, and even then, people just move on to the next chese. I've just come to accept the fact that people seem to genuinely have more fun mashing a single button to win rather than the gratifying feeling they'd get when they use their own skill to outsmart their opponent. PvP in gaming is genuinely cooked.

Having so many options doesn't create diversity when a small select of options are viable as everything in the meta game centers around that one or select few characters. The thing with this video and argument that I disagreed with hard on was the idea that the developers shouldn’t need to be constantly testing their game to weed out potential bs, and that there’s no such thing as a perfect game. A perfect game can’t exist, but that doesn’t mean that you should just stop trying to make it as close to one as possible. The problem isn’t that it’s not a party game that you can only play with your friends. The problem was just that not enough testing went into the game and that it was released in a bad state. The problem was that the game, at its core, was designed in a way, from the ground up, so these exploits could happen in the first place. The foundation is bad, and limiting play to local with your friends wouldn’t fix that. It would just make it so you’d be raging with your friends over the bs instead of raging over other players. Because at the end of the day, we can turn the whole idea that it’s a player choice around and say that YOU are actively making the choice to engage with these players, too. You don’t have to play with these toxic players, but you choose to open yourself up to that. Even if the game is meant to be played online, YOU COULD STILL choose to only play it with your friends like I did and still got fed up with how mechanically broken the game was. Because doing that isn’t going to make the game less broken.

Here some toxic strategys i despise Whis: low sweep into 2 bar super + healing and auto dodge G4: wild sense into rush super Z Broly: Unblockable rush super spam+ sparking spam his super armor forces you to engage in close combat MUI: Charged ki blast spam. He got 2 diffetent charged blasts which allows him to firs several charged ki attacks wearing you down barely punichable. Teleporting rush super super if you dare to try go into sparking, or after any wild sense and if you get got charging any attack. Vegito Blue: Full power if you cant super counter 5 times in a row you can say bye bye if he super counters you Thees are the most Toxic cause of the damage they do and how hard it is to avoid. As soon as you reach A rank you see G4,MUI,Whis,Blue fusions or Jiren very often

There really is no point in getting good at a game, just to be spammed to death by cheese. Not to mention trash input delay, which is why I thought making super counters and vanishes harder to do was stupid, in a game where theres latency issues. I'm willing to play against people who don't play like that, I'm not messing with rank no more. As far as I'm concerned, developers really don't know how to make a balanced game at all, and it's been an issue for years. They're so caught in trying to put "cool" things in the game, that they don't take into account that people would use this cool thing to abuse the game. I have never been more satisfied in this game than when I beat a generic overplayed SS4 player with a Cell JR (I love playing with underused characters). I feel like not a lot of people play this game to have fun, but try to cheese their way to Z rank sadly. A team worked on all of these characters, dialogue, animations etc. just for a large majority of them to go unnoticed cause people want to play the same characters over and over again. That's the major conundrum of the Spark Zero/ Tenkaichi community. They wanted the game to be an unbalanced mess, then complain about how broken the game was. Sadly, no matter what game you play online, there's always going to be people who are so desperate for that Dub, they will use the most broken, OP strategies imaginable. They want the glory of winning, without having to put in the work. Preaching "skill issue", while exploiting mechanics and strats that require no skill.

The points system shouldn’t be the same for both players. It supposed to fill up much slowly for a player who sits, charge and wait. Also make the maches 4-5 life bars, instead of 3-4. It will prolong the fight and will make the skill gap more noticeable

I don't play online, I play against bots, and let me tell you it is a frustrating experience if you play against anything higher than medium rank bots. They react so incredibly quickly to anything I do that I can be mid-combo where an opening shouldn't even be then they just counter me and knock me away. The input frames for counters are so egregiously inconsistent to me I don't even use them because it just feels like panic mashing sometimes. People hyped this game up like crazy and talked like it was the best thing since sliced bread, so I was IMMENSELY disappointed when I actually played it.

Alot of timing for counters is gonna be more consistent with your auditory sense than it will be your visual, if that's makes any sense for you lol. It's almost like a metronome, you gotta practice a little bit to find the rhythm tbh.

that's what I'm saying. i quit the game the first week it came out because of abysmal servers and the amount of input lag i have to deal with. its hard enough whenever people are as toxic as they are. i can handle losing but not when i know the reward is just NOT worth it. its not just frustrating to play its discouraging and absolutely DRAINING.

I believe toxicity is happening in any competitive game, whether you like or not troll exists and we just need to learn living alongside them. The thing is that the game can be good and can be fixed with time but by the time it is, no one will care and the community that we hoped for will be a fraction of what it could be. To me, the solution isn’t cutting everyone who ruins the game off, sounds impossible, but I say we showcase a better way to play as creators so that the people who cheese choose to play for fun instead. Show those who cheese and only play for the win that there’s a better way to have fun, develop discussion on what entertaining gameplay looks like so even if you don’t win, anyone who watches wants to play the same way regardless if they win. The goal of gating the community is a good plan, but the better plan is showing the community that they can be better. Showing the bigger creators they can be better. Showing the devs that they can be better. Cringy and anime asf Ik, but we all fell in love with anime bc it made us believe that anyone can be better. Realistic no, but possible? That’s up to us.

Hot take incoming. The spam and cheese is not just relegated to Sparking Zero. Elden Ring became the same feeling for me with the spammable Ashes of War and Stance breaking mechanic on enemies. Unlike in DS3 where the combat was fluid and balanced around pvp so that you couldn't just cheese players and tough enemies to get a victory. It's why I don't like Elden Ring and find it boring. All of the comments I see around Sparking Zero is exactly why I won't be buying the game to begin with. It juat sounds boring and uninspired with some cool cutscenes every once in a while. The communities around these games love to ruin them with begging for easy, spammable moves and removing all thoughts from the games. Epic Name Bro was right, I see the writing on the wall for these games, and I'm not impressed.

I just abandoned this game completely. Multiplayer is a complete sh1tshow and single player isn't good enough to keep playing it. Story mode is awful in presentation and skips too much content.

Mods and custom battles on PC gave this game 1000% more replay value than story and multi-player combined. You can basically make insane superboss fights that are infinitely more fun than any MP match I've ever played.

Yea, after my first match in c5 playing tien and being matched with broly and mui goku. It was kinda annoying, but it feels good to counter those op characters. Now cheese. I got hit with the ki blast cheese before the patch and this was in a quickplay lobby just because i played krillen and he has afterimage. Even tho im trash and dont use it optimally, or sometimes i just forget to use afterimage. He still ki blasted cheesed me because my character had it. Like the toxicity is crazy. Just existing will cause players to abuse cheese cuz they are afraid to lose or fight normally and lose.
