Welcome to A Peek Inside. My name is Darlene and I have been happily married for over 25 years with two amazing children and two handsome pups. I've been doing KZbin since 2016 but decided to have a fresh start in 2024. My focus now is giving a little peek into my journey as a woman that was a military spouse, stay at home mom and homemaker that enjoyed those years but many of those things have changed with my husband's retirement and the children getting older and I am feeling a little lost. I am taking the time to focus on myself to make my health a priority so I can be around to enjoy the beautiful life and family that my husband and I created.
Thank you for helping build this community on my little channel and I hope you are excited to follow along as I give a little "PEEK" in this journey of mine.

What a beautiful day thanks for takings us along my sister and sister-in-law suffered with fibroids as well both are doing much better after treatment and I know you are on your way to felling better as well just know we all love you 🥰 and will always be on your team ❤🙏🏾

Good to see you!!! Glad you're OK! We will be grilling burgers and hot dogs with all of our family on the 4th. I've yet to find a macaroni salad in store I like. I usually just make it about 1x a year because no matter what ya do it's alot lol Good to know Andrew is doing good! ❤❤ Maybe a pup update next😂 I've not seen them lurking around the kitchen in a few ❤

Hope your feeling better. Tough being a women.🙂 I do Walmart pickup. Have done it since Covid. It’s for staples that go 4-5 weeks. It’s only two of us.

Oh, Darlene, I'm so sorry you had such a rough month. I can relate, for sure. At 46, I underwent an hysterectomy because of my fibroids. That was 17 years ago, so I'm hoping there have been improvements in the management and treatment that you will benefit from. I'm so glad you've been seeing a specialist, and have been feeling a bit better. I'm reaching through the screen to give you a BIG hug, and say, "I understand!" So good to see Andrew having fun on Canada Day!

Sorry your not feeling well,,,two yrs ago I had a grapefruit fibroid removed,,a full hysterectomy as well,,ive always had problems with my cycles,,,best wishes,,,and hope you feel well ❤

I went through long extremely heavy periods that lasted a month at a time. I was so anemic & tired all the time. I ended up in the hospital & they found my iron & blood count dangerously low that if they didn't give me a transfusion my hear would stop beating. I received an blood transfusion & instantly after that I got color in my face & felt amazing. I was sent a gynecologist & they found a huge fibroid that was a big as 28 week pregnancy. I ended up having to have a hysterectomy at the age of 40 years old. It was the best choice & have not looked back.

🙏🏽🖤Dear Darlene and PI Family, PLEASE don’t be like me and scared to go to a doc. I have neglected my health and care for years and as a breast cancer “survivor” I am ashamed. But I felt so alone and scared. I finally started back at the doc 2 weeks ago and so far, so good w/ results🙏🏽About to start the breast cancer testing soon so PLEASE, ANYONE, pray the best for me🙏🏽🧡I love all Peak inside Family and have enjoyed getting to be familiar w/ you all over the years.
